Anyone here with dentures, do you like stronger tasting e juice?

Hi all. I have had full dentures, tops and bottoms, since my early 20's(long story) I know that because of my dentures, I probably don't taste food the way most people do because my palate is covered. I was wondering if any of you with dentures find that you need to have stronger flavors in your e juice.

Had some time on my hands, just wondering as I was mixing up a brew of e juice. I also tend to like stronger tasting foods.

I worked with someone who actually preferred lighter tasting cigs and foods. Not sure if it had to do with the dentures or not. Actually, I think the light cigarettes were just a preference- but the light foods were by recommendation of doctor- low salt foods.

But this is a good question.

My grandfather has dentures and smoked for 32 years, (quit for 9 and ongoing)- but when he was smoking, he smoked Marlboro Lights.

I think for the both of them, it was just more about the texture than anything else, and not so much about the taste.

Humm, same here other than later twenties. I do know that in the almost six months I have not found any e-liquid that I can taste/smell any more then once in a great while for a puff or two. I have never noticed it with food as I do taste/smell food, but then who knows, maybe not to the extent others do without dentures.....

No problem here with the choppers. It did take me six months to find a flavor that I liked. Ended up with a blend of 555's and it is the only liquid I use. I do find that the taste diminishes after about 4 or 5 draws so I just adjusted my habits to take 4 draws every 20 minutes. It satisfies the craving and taste stays strong.

Some varied experiences. I smoked lights for a while, until I realized that light only meant taste, not "less harnful". So I went back to full flavored because I liked it better. I also smoked menthol, and I wonder if that further reduced my ability to taste. I can taste the juice when I vape, but I like it strong, sweet, or sour.

I have to keep in mind that my tastebuds have been desensitized from over 35 years of smoking ciggies. I hear it takes months to start tasting normally again.

Same here I have upper and lower and scince my 20's and in my 50's now and been vaping for almost a year now and it took me about 5months to find my perfect flavor of juice but I do notice just a little better taste without my dentures in when vaping but not that much of a diference? once you find your perfect flavor it won't matter if you have dentures or not!

Thanks. I don't think I'll ever settle on a perfect flavor, just like I have no favorite color or food. I like 'em all! I have starting to DIY my own juice, so I'll be able to personalize my flavors to my own tastes. I'll also be able to "doctor up" any premixed juice I have.

Don't see myself vaping without my choppers, except for my hubby, most of my family don't even know I have dentures. lol
