Many Europeans order from outside the EU all the time and the thing to keep in mind is that you probably have to keep your purchase below a certain amount if you want to be sure to receive the items, otherwise they may get caught in customs. Well, of course I'm not sure if that also applies to you in the US, but at least that is what is important the other way around.
I live in Denmark and I have tried to buy an Eleaf 2 through
fasttech but it got held in customs so I had to let it be sent back, otherwise I would have had to pay almost the same amount to get it released as I paid for it on Fasttech.
We can only purchase goods for a total amount of approximately 12 USD (10 EUR) if we want to be sure to receive the purchased items! IF the amount is higher AND customs check our parcels we have to pay extra such as fees, VAT etc., so we risk that the amount we have to pay can be doubled or more.
