I started out with a kanger evod vv with a random tank $66 Then i bought a kanger Ipow2 with a kanger protank3 $58
Now i have a eleaf istick 20w with a kanger aerotank giant $55 my only regret is not buying the istick set up in the first place.
A lot of guys start with a V V, and upgrade later I say get the upgrade first and save yourself some money.
If i would have bought the istick setup in the first place and not the other 2 i would have saved myself $124

The Eleaf is really catching on, I hear a lot of people around my area starting with a set up like that now instead of the old pen style ones. VW has become much easier now, and for someone starting out with 1 tank you can basically just tell them what to set it on and leave it, and they can learn about it later if they want. Now with the Atlantis and Subtanks on the market as well I think it will help some of the people who couldn't get started before because it was too little for them, some people (like my father) have a hard time getting a good draw off anything. I set him up with my old MVP 2.0 and Nautilus tank and set the wattage for him, and he is cutting back on cigarettes quick now. Hoping I can help him get off the cigarettes for the first time in 40 years.

Joe I started a step below you with a 650 mha battery kit and random juice on a whim. I graduated to a VV (ordered a 2nd for a back up), and now I have 4 online orders to arrive here next week.... which will not be complete till the eleaf 50 is available. I'm on day 5 of no "analogs", took me a week before that to get my nic level correct. It's an adventure, but I am bummed every time I throw good money after bad. So...I know exactly how you feel, but if someone would have said "give me 200 and I'll fix you up for two months without cigarettes I'd probably still be puffin', wondering if it would work. I'm sold on VAPING!

Don't you know what they say about hindsight?

We've all been there, done that and brought back a t-shirt (except me, I'm to cheap to buy it). But at some point you find just the right thing and you are in a happy vaping place. I started using a reo nine months ago and I can't imagine vaping getting any better for me. But then, there are some that love to try all the new stuff and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I just think it is wonderful that there are so many new things for people to try. Good luck to you at finding your place.

I guess I'm just starting out. I've been vaping for about 4 months. I styarted with a EVOD 1100mah battery and an Aspire Maxi BDC. I now have 2 1100mah batteries, an Ego 1100mah VV battery, 3 Aspire Maxi BDC tanks, an Aspire ES-T BDC 3ml tank and Phoenix Clone Rebuildable Drip. It works for me until I get a good Mod.

Started out with convenience store and Walmart eGos and semi-refillable clearos (you can refill them, with they wear out quick, and you can't change the coil). I ended up with 7 kits and I am giving most of those to my 30 year old step-son. I'm keeping the VV spinner and the Kanger T3'D.

After being analog free for around 62 days 6 hours and 49 minutes (not that I'm keeping track...), I decided to upgrade. I now own 2 Davide BCD tanks, an eLeaf iStick 20, a Kamry K1000, and enough spare coils to last me 4 months.

I also have an order in for another 80ml of custom juice.

This kick has resulted in 3 members of my family quitting analogs (step-son, step-daughter, and myself), and I am frequently haranguing my daughter and mother.

This all came about as I lost my father on October 27, 2014 to COPD, cancer (undetermined diagnosis... long story), rheumatoid arthritis, and a degenerative bone and joint disease.
