simple........

go into the Squeeze 2 settings and turn it off.......

How?

1) with the Squeeze 2 turned on, press and hold the Fire and + buttons
2) use the + or - buttons and scroll to the Light Bulb symbol, highlight it and press Fire
3) scroll through the Colors until you see OFF, highlight OFF, then press Fire to select it
4) scroll to the Left Arrow and press Fire to exit the settings

<OR>

do nothing for ~8 seconds and the Squeeze 2 will save your setting and exit the Settings Menu

Made it work. You have to press fire THEN the button
Made it work. Turned it white rather than off because it might be needed for something. With the tape it’s orders of magnitude less annoying but I can see it if I need to. A less bright LED or a smaller hole for it would also solve that. I once had an issue with an overly bright LED. Don’t remember what it was on, I only remember that it was blue and waaay too bright. I took some aluminum tape (the stuff is great. It’s basically extra thick tinfoil with heat resistant sticky on one side) covered the LED and then poked the foil with a pin. Worked wonders.
