Heya!

I've been searching for a danish pastry flavor for awhile but most of those i can find are more cinnamon bun flavor or have cinnamon included in it.

I'd love to hear your opinions if you've tried a "clean" one without any cinnamon. :)
And where to get it. :) (Needs to be able to ship internationally)

Edit: I'm seeking the danish with vanilla custard. We figured in this thread that US and Swedish version is abit diffrent. :) We've custard in ours and you've cheese/fruits.

They look like this if anyone is unsure of what a danish pastry is.

I can't be of huge huge help here (well, maybe, depends) but I just want to check that you are asking about pre-made eliquid, and not DIY/DIY Flavorings?

Mostly looking for pre mixed atm, i do some casual DIY aswell so it wouldn't hurt to get it as diy also. But mainly looking for a premixed.

Sure... I mostly DIY so I can't be a big help with the pre-mixed stuff. I'm not a big bakery person but I feel like I used something that tasted like what you're looking for as I love danishes too. I'll have to go through my notes. No promises. Just so I know are you actually hoping to find a cheese danish (ish) recipe, which appears to be what you have pictured, or just the danish and/or icing bakery note?

It's not cheese in the center if that's what you meant. :) It's more like vanilla custard-ish/cream.
So the danish + vanilla and icing would just be an extra not as important. :)

And i'd love to get a recipe if you manage to find your notes. :)
Granted i'll prolly have to buy a bunch of new flavorings to actually make it. But it'll be of help regardless. :)

Maybe KissBAss vapor's Gooey Butter Cake....For vender e-liquid.

I know when I was looking at flavors, to start diy, I remember running across a "danish" flavor....not cinnamon...just danish.
But I didn't order it and cannot remember who made it.....but there is one out there somewhere

Just yeasty, not to sweet cakey kinda flavor!!!

Thanks for the suggestion, would might have been something to try out. Altho it seems like they don't ship internationally. :/
That's another huge matter i forgot to mention, the company needs to be able to ship internationally. :)

Hmm danish diy flavoring, i'ma do some googling and see if i can find it.

It actually is cheese! In most danishes (of that type), anyway. Maybe not in Sweden? I wouldn't know, but that's definitely common here for a non-fruit danish, and it's the cheese that gives the center its distinct texture. It's a sweeter, mild cream cheese amped up with vanilla and cream etc. I'm a baker :)

I will see if I can find which flavoring it was. I'm not totally sure where that notebook is.

I've actually tried KickBass' Gooey Butter Cake before, long time ago, and I definitely agree it might kind of scratch the itch. It has more of a cake batter note than is probably ideal for a danish flavor, but you still might find it tasty if you can get it. I think you're right they don't do Intn'l though :(

I see, yea in sweden it's just vanilla cream basicly. I'ma try translate the recipe (for making the real thing not the juice XD) And it'll give u an idea.

  • 2 dl milk
  • 2 yolks
  • 2 msk Sugar
  • 2 msk Potatostarch
  • 1 tsk Vanilla sugar
  • 15 g Pure butter

This was translated from swedish to english so might got some ingredient name wrongly but should be accurate.

    Edit: Dooh just checked wikia
"In Sweden, Danish pastry is typically made in the Spandauer-style, often with vanilla custard."
Danish pastry - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    So there's that :D

^Indeed, and there's also (from the wiki page) "In the US, Danishes are typically given a topping of fruit or sweet baker's cheese prior to baking."

Confusion solved! :D

I'll get back to you if I can figure out where my older notebook is. That danish recipe is quite similar; it's mostly the filling that appears to be made a little differently in our respective countries :)

Copper Creek Danish.

You will not find better. you get a choice of about 6 different fruits.......or you can choose to have it without any fruit.

Hmm as i've just learned US ones are abit diffrent than ours. :p
I don't want fruits in it, just custard. :)

Thank you alot for the suggestion, i'ma check it out though. If they ship internationally it might be worth a try (with fruit) XD :)
Edit: They do! Nice! :)
2nd Edit:

Dooh...
"January 21/2013
Notice!
Due to the USPS doubling their international shipping rates,
and the lack of tracking once a package leaves the US,
we are no longer accepting international orders."

They should edit their shipping info aswell not only their FAQ, oh well. :)
