Provape website says they have a second company that paints their tubes therefore they will not be able to repaint your Provari tube. The reason I ask is I have an older Provari with the grip lines that run up and down and are straight. I won't buy a new Provari because I absolutely loathe their new criss cross grip pattern and I also don't like the grip pattern where it is a bunch of little punched holes like on the Provari mini.

So, I'm just looking for someone that can repaint my Provari solid black again but knows how to take it apart and put it back together without damaging it. Surely, this idea has came up before as I saw someone have their Provari tube replaced with solid wood and all the circuitry worked fine as the person knew what they were doing.

Get a Jwrap. Only costs 15 bucks, with hundreds of styles to choose from and you dont run the risk of someone ripping you off. There used to someone on the forums here who promised to refinish mods then took dozens in and then just disappeared.

As a result of his actions, thats kind of frowned upon now or at least not encouraged.

You can find jwraps here

LOL I am sure OP knows of j wraps. J wraps and a custom painted finish are an entirely different look and quality wanted. I know they sell some custom painted provaris on eBay and then there are the the stealths.

I have seen a lot of powder coating advertised on CL around my area in the past but don't not know of their rep.

E mail provape, see if they will strip it down for you..... you have it painted then you send it back for re-assemble.

Maybe call around at your local auto body shops, better yet go in person because some will think your crazy and have no idea what your talking about.

Maybe someone else will chime in with an answer for you.

No harm in trying, but I know someone else requested that recently (having ProVape reassemble) and they declined...
There are videos on disassembling (saw a good one for building the 26650 Mega ProVari, or whatever that's called) - but I think it possible this is a project for an out-of-warranty-anyway device, and a do-it-yerself-er owner! Disassemble, have it powdercoated, reassemble.
