I guess I am the next one to leave the forum...because I have obviously died and gone to bacon Heaven!!
I just know someone on the dark side is posting they'll stay there. Way too much bacon on ECF.

Do you think anyone who ever worked in a bacon factory ever wished they were vegan? No. They were giddy with excitement to know they were getting free bacon every day and it was taking 5 years off their lifespan. They were happy to die early from eating bacon rather than spend those 5 miserable years eating tofurkey or some other miserable overly processed veggie vomit dressed up to look like real food even though it couldn't come close to it.

I entered a thread to find the whereabouts of a dear friend who added me to her ignore list nearly 2 years ago. Instead of getting the information, I wound up in a diabetic coma. Incidents like this are why we have rules. If you three can't stick to the topic, I'll have to start handing out some infractions.

Seems rules apply differently as I'm sure some came here to get some info on Andria's absence and instead walked into a load of rubbish that has only increased my curiosity as to exactly why she decided to leave. You don't have to have liked her or agreed with her but she was a part of this community and surely it's better to find out what the issue was and resolve it rather then turn this thread into what it's become. As for this other forum is ECF really that insecure and worried that it can't be mentioned or discussed I don't do well with subtlety so still don't know which one it is but on a supposed adults only site surely it can be discussed unless of course it has vulgarity in it's name.

As to the other forum, a long sordid history. *sigh* I think it is the only forum that is censored by our filters.

I started the rubbish to..... well.... lighten the situation before it got contentious and started going into an area that could be problematic.
Not trying to censor anything....just gently guide it around.
I did not want this thread to evolve into a forum bashing thread. If that does start happening....I will have to shut the thread down.
