Yeah, I'm not requiring massive air flow at this point myself.
But no idea if the smallest barrell would be too much, but it gives all the options to grow with ya...

I'm pretty happy with adjustable air-flow, but I am finding myself building lower ohms and vaping at higher wattages since getting my 100w sigelei ( not low low ohm ).

Seem to be opening up the air flow anyway with my newer builds...

I just really love the way the deck is designed!

WOW, got it today at local B&M...they had 1 in their case, $40!!

Did a duel 24gage, .3 and using the smallest barrel at 43 watts.

Just WOW, ok I finally get it!

Huge well, holds a ton of juice. I LOVE IT!!!
This is a nice package, has everything....40-45 $$$$
Nice chunky screws, everything fits nice, and a full set of replacement parts too.

Ok so nobody... <crickets>

Its been almost a month, just a few mentions (maybe 1) in other threads per search here.

I've played with it/builds/drip tips and even "Frankensteined" it with other barells and top caps.

So I have settled in with duel 2.5ID 26gage Kanthol at .5 ohms with the smallest barell and wide bore drip tip and am enjoying it at 34W on Sig 100W plus.

My other RBA are getting dusty. I would usually switch between 2 Tobh's and a Stilaire,
1 on Sig, and Istick50 and the other on dna30.

Now just using Sig and Alliance.

Nice enough flavor and more vapor than I was used too....but what I am most happy about is the size of the juice well. Its like I almost forget I have to drip...

SO ANYBODY OUT THERE.....HELLO... DO YOU HAVE ONE TOO??
Do you love it, hate it? Want something to be different?

I know I want a smaller airflow barell. Just to really complete the pkg for ME.

Its funny you guys posted to this thread today. I have been using the Aeolus V1 clone for the last couple of weeks and just re-wicked the ALLIANCE today.
I had trouble getting 28 to grab hold too.

Still would love to get my hands on a smaller air flow barrel for the Alliance, would be amazing for flavor with the benefit of DEEP juice well.

I still enjoy using it, but am looking to purchase another Aeolus, really enjoying the whole top airflow/no leaking/better flavor thing!!!

BUT, if you love to blow clouds for the money and what you get its a WIN!

Funny I decided to rock the Aeolus v1 clone this morning over my Tugboat. Great minds...

I thought i just got a defective one. Im glad to hear you have the same issue. It really makes it pretty worthless. 1 in 5 builds acctually holds. I have a feeling this one will end up as a dust collecter

I think we had opposite problems...LOL....I had issues with snapping the wire with 28 gage.
Moved up to 26 gage and made good connections.

I like the Alliance, but man I was burning thru juice like a crazy person.

I think for me ( have to try everything at least once ) I have finally found my happy place for now.
I moved from 30-50watt devices with Tobh's to 100watt Sigelei and just wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
At first it was WOW, but man I just can't vape that way all day. I will probably play with it once in a while and keep a build in it. BUT...I have another Aeolus ordered and on the way. Like I said..happy place.

If they put out a smaller airflow barrel I would still buy it:facepalm:
Cause I LOVE the deck on it!!!

I have the 28.5 mm one. And i love it. Never had a problem with screws loosening up. Ran 18g,20g,22g,24g in mine. The peek insulators held up great on my .06 18g build i had in for two days. Im wanting the 22 mm verison when i have the time to drive to a bm i like about an hour away.
Just fyi, since you mentioned an hour drive....
The 22mm version airflow barells are suposed to be different than the 28mm version.
I believe that the 28mm smallest is smaller than the 22mm smallest.

If you are loving the 28mm and using the smallest airflow barell you may find the 22mm too airy. :toast:
