Since I've started vaping, about a week ago now I have witnessed a sharp reduction in my sweets consumption. Has anyone else experienced this? Don't get me wrong I still like some greek yogurt with that fruit at the bottom and a cookie here and there, but overall I have not been craving sugary foods nearly as often as I had.

Nicotine definitely has an effect on blood sugar. When you quit smoking, your sugar levels drop drastically. Sugar withdrawal is very similar to the side effects of quitting nicotine/cigs; some even say the symptoms of "cigarette" withdrawal" is mostly sugar withdrawal. Having gone on a complete sugar-free (I'm talking refined sugar) diet for seven days I agree.

One cessation website, actually warns users of a lower desire for soda and other sugar products. My personal experiences is similar to Abbas, but I've seen others go all crazy on sugar after quitting. Regardless of the response, when you quit there will be some type of reaction to sugar levels. I did not gain weight after smoking and wonder if this is why!
