Anyone notice how one device at XX.XX volts does not hit the same as another at the same voltage?

I have a few devices... and while the non-adjustable ones are controlled at 4V my adjustable device at the same voltage gives a completely different hit/taste than the others. I am wondering if this is simply the voltage regulater/pulse modulator causing this or if it may have something to do with various material tolerances and connector metalurgy causing slight variance in ohmage. I have noticed this between both DCT, top coil tanks, double barrel tanks, and even regular carts....

It is probably due to the differences in tolerance of the parts used to make the device. Some electronic parts (mainly resistors) can have as high as +/- 20% difference. So with one device set at 4.0 v, you might be getting 4.2 v and another set at the same getting 3.8 v, etc. Even meters to read voltage will have a certain amount of difference in the actual reading they show from one to another.

I agree with the under load and airflow part. as well as pulse modulation, but the biggest factor if all things the same is voltage regulation, some devices dont keep the voltage steady and fluctuate strongly between fresh charge and almost dead battery.

and there is also the fact that on some devices what you set is not exactly what is coming out.

for the most part its according to what you pay If you buy cheap thats what you get. Well I should say cheaper, none of them are really cheap. Most of the cheaper Chinese stuff is made with the cheapest electronic components they have available. Its as simple as you get what you pay for. If you are one of those picky people who expect their meter to match the output your gonna have to get one of the higher end mods. Unfortunately 90% of the mods available are not calibrated correctly. But most don't seem to care.
