You're forgetting everyone does not use rbas. There are still tons of people who use cartos.

Tons ?? Have you been to a vape meet in the last couple years ?

In a carto tank maybe but that has the same issue.

who nowadays would be walking around topping off a carto every 30 minutes.

I still have a WELL USED woodville VV, but dont use much anymore. IT's a beauty though and vapes well! Guess they are collectors items now.. :)

Mine is with me all day every day (except fishing days...). It is about to celebrate its second birthday. Sale night was 04/28/2012.

Regulated vaping in a Reo was the greatest thing ever IMO. Thats why I have two VVGs. Consistent vape is #1 priority for me...sad he wont be making any more:(

Both are really quite similar but yet different.

With both you still have to swap batts, just depends on if your swapping when you feel a drop or when a VV cuts out.

I self regulate mine by changing batts at 3.9 :D

My VV is a much loved weapon in my seal team that destroys even the slightest thought of ever smoking again. :)

I bought a VV in the classies yesterday too, didn't see two listed...hope we didn't buy the same one!

Glad I found this thread, I just posted that this will be my first Reo and was worried maybe I should have just waited for the upgraded Grands for my first. Sounds like I made the right move, I'll just pick up a Grand as my second ;-).

But you have to remember everyone doesn't go to vape meets or read forums. We are just a very small percentage of vapers. And yes I meant cartos in tanks. Even though I'm not using them they are still one of the easiest, most reliable vapes. My wife still uses them and loves them. I couldn't get her to switch no matter what I gave her. I just got her a BB today and I'm sure she'll think it's the greatest thing ever. It uses cartos in a tank.

Love my vv grand...and I also have a mech grand. But I will say I can't wait for the kick mod grand to come out.

Yes the vv grand is easier to adjust, but I like the idea of if the chip fails/gets damaged, it's a 1 min fix to swap it out.

And if its firing mechanics are like the Grand we'll be able to wash it, take it swimming too. I really don't see how adjusting the Kick will be hassle. Easier to adjust than on a tube mod. Once its adjusted its done. I think battery life will be awesome with the newer high capacity batteries and the new SO contacts.

The vv grand I just remove the door and dial in to taste. Easy.

Kick has the added steps of removing the battery and kick, using a screwdriver to adjust the rheo (reo) stat..lol... and putting it back in. No big deal...just a few more steps than the vv reo.

I don't know to much about regulated mods and have never tried one as have only owned mechs although I have started to take an interest in regulated box mods just lately.

Not sure if it's feesible but would a reo / dna30 chip not be a rather good combination ?

Saying that I am looking forward to the SO kit, maybe on a new LP Grand. :)

Sounds good in print and I'm sure someone will mod a Reo to take one, they have already added the DNA 20 to a Reo. I recently bought a DNA 20 BF mod and after using it for two weeks decided it didn't really add anything for me so I'm selling it. Some people love them.

All my LPs will be getting the upgrade.

Ya...some did mod a reo with a dna board. Forgot the post but a search should turn it up.

I also asked rob about a dna reo maybe in the future but he does not want to make a reo that he cant control the quality on. Just like the current vv grand, he cant control the failure of a second party board (not to say the buzz board is bad...I have a buzz pro that has been going 3 yrs strong)
