Anyone order mini White bats recently? Cut-off time?

As some of you may already know, I recently recieved 2 black mini's that have about an 8 second cut off.

Well I plan on ordering 2 more on Monday when the PCC's become available. But I want white this time.

Does anyone know if these could possibly have the same 8 second cut-off? Does anyone own a white one like this? Otherwise I may just get black again. :/

Unless they have officially switched to the 8 second cutoff switch, consider yourself lucky. A number of people have reported getting batteries that are supposed to have a 5sec cutoff but in fact have a 7 or 8 sec cutoff. I wouldn't worry about the color because the tubes are just sprayed whatever color, the electronic components going inside would all be coming from the same stock pile so one battery color wouldn't be different from the other, just depends which one got the semi longer cutoff switch.

Leaford would be able to verify tho if there has been a change to a longer cutoff switch.

6 seconds here on a just received black mini....hold on let me test the other.....5 seconds.

So yeah, I guess you got "lucky", although my normal puffs are only 3.5 seconds, if I had an 8 second cutoff, I'd gladly trade it to someone with much larger lungs than I have. Actually, it's not lungs, I inhale into my mouth first, then lungs. My mouth BARELY holds a 6 second drag. Like jaw is at maximum opening, cheeks are puffed out, and I look like a caricature of a mime trying to smoke himself to death. I don't know where 2 more seconds would go unless inhaling straight to my lungs, but these things aren't bongs!

Are you inhaling directly into your lungs, or do I just have a smaller than normal oral cavity?

As I've said elsewhere, all three of mine have different cutoffs, from 5-8 seconds, although they're the older 'ash cap' batteries.
