I just purchaed the LT VV from Liberty flights, as well as 2 of the AW IMR 18650 batteries. I have been using a VV box mod for about 6 months now and have loved it. But I have been looking for a VV tube mod but didn't want to drop a bunch of cash to see if I like them or not. So, I am wondering if anyone here owns one? And if so, how do you like it?? I am not expecting it to be as good as a Buzz pro or a Provari or anyting like that. I was just hoping it will be a decent VV tube mod that will be reliable.

Love to hear everyone's feedback on this item.

Assuming that's Lava tube, there's a whole sub-forum:
Lavatube

2.5 amp max limit (not too bad), so use an ohm's law calculator. Plug in voltage and ohms and see that you don't over draw it. Or plug in voltages and 2.5 amps to see resulting ohms. Etc. Any two values gives you all of em.

Particularly important when discussing LR/DC.

I've got one from Liberty Flights and am happy with it. I only used it for a week or so before letting my roommate borrow it. It's not a bad mod, but I definitely prefer my VV box mod to it. The ONLY reason I bought it was because I was curious to see what it was like. I found my cheaper box mod works just as well and is easier to carry around for daily use.

Here you can see it next to some of my other ecigs. In order... Silver Bullet, Maxi Roughstack, Lava Tube, E-Power and Mad Vapes VV box mod. It has a Boge 3ohm carto on it in the pic, so it will be even longer with something like a Resurrector (the E-Power has a Resurrector on it in the pic) .It's just too long if you want something you can easily carry around with you all day.

My one big gripe with it is that the end cap doesn't screw on all the way with standard 18650 batteries (which I read about, but also totally forgot about). You need the flat top ones for it to fit properly. I can tell it's only a matter of time before the plastic on the end cap breaks off because it's not super snug and wiggles a bit.

I also have button top AWs that I'm using and my fix for the end cap was to put an o-ring on it to take up the space. It was actually minimal, approx. 1/32 inch.
