The Buzz Pro, Infinity Pro and L-Rider VV (Lava Tube) are all pretty new; they were all introduced this year. Before that, the regular (non-vv) Buzz and Infinity have been around a while longer as basic tube mods.

The original buzz was vv, and the original infinity was vv. First there was the buzz vv, then the original infinity vv which introduced the wheel interface, then the buzz pro which went to an updated vv regulator, then the infinity pro which uses the same regulator as the buzz pro. Buzz vv was out before provari, darwin, any other production vv.

I really love my Infinity Pro. When I was looking into getting a VV device I wanted to get something relatively inexpensive, so at first I was looking at the Lavatube. What sold me on the Infinity Pro was that there are many satisfied customers, they are made in the USA and you can get support right here on ECF from the creator. You're not going to be able to get that kind of support with the lavatube.
The original Buzz is a VV I know because I have one and using as I'm typing this!
The industry's evolving so fast, it's funny to think of an 18 month old original Buzz as "old" design
