Anyone own the new EM901?

I got my ultimate viper sets on Friday -fantastic ship time from Vapor4life! - but I'm not seeing what all the hubbub is about. I'm not getting much vapor, no throat hit, no taste, feels like I'm sucking lots of air. Will this get better?

Both the blue & chrome are very cool looking!

You are not alone, i too got a EM901 and although the customer service was fantastic and such, the product doesn't live up to the claims. The first unit i received was definately defective and it was replaced promptly but still doesn't work, super short cut off times, batteries sticking on etc..... I decided to just bite that one (supplier went on vacation and 14day warranty expired) etc........but i can see why all the other suppliers discontinued this model.

they arent defective, but they are finicky. they cut off short when they arent wet enough, and if you draw too fast/hard. it takes a little getting used to, and needs a little breaking in. i had to remove some of the filler in the carts to be able to fit any amount of liquid in them, beacuse the unit sucks through liquid quick.

I tend to drip with my EM901 so I keep it wet and draw slow. Good vapor for me using it that way. Easy draw tho.

I too was interested in the EM901.

I got a M-401 instead which I am very happy with.

I am not a fan of very-easy-draw devices, I find that they don't generate the nice concentrated dense vapour I like. Also the flavour seems to be diluted and doesn't taste as much.

I recently got an older RN7072 atomizer which is very similar to my DSE801 except that it has only 2 holes on the atomizer. The vapour it produces is denser and yummier... No more or less but I like a slightly tighter draw

He said they have received some defective batteries and will be replacing mine first thing tomorrow, and will test them all before shipping! I will return the defective ones to him also.

He also said they have been swamped sorting and putting away another huge shipment and getting orders shipped.

I have the new 901 as well. So far so good. The battery is lasting me about 6 hrs of constant puffing. That being said, Im not sure how I feel about the mic switch. It is very delicate and constantly cuts on at the slightest breeze.

according to eastmall, em901 batteries are 280 mah where dse 901 is 180 mah, thats a big upgrade......and they do seem to last quite a bit longer, but i think they burn hotter(better vapor) so they dont last as much longer as those numbers might suggest
