you know... the first drag wasent the best.... but it took some time to get usted to.... an acquired taste
*edit* and if you want an easy draw.... look into a 4 hole atty.... like the dse801

Its not really an acquired taste; and i hate to to say this and correct you, but its more of just the transition as a whole from analogs to an e cig and not just taste. The weight, feel, smoke etc. People say that there are juices out there that taste like a real cigarette. A lot of others say that the e cig tastes way better than analogs do and vice versa. There are a lot of contributing factors as to why people prefer analogs to e cigarettes, not just the "taste" as you say.
Also, 4 hole atomizers dont always necessarily mean an easier draw. My 901 draws just as easily as my titan 510 and my 801 do.

Your spelling is horrendus also. Just to let you know........

Well I for one HATE using carts. At first I tried to use them, and do all the mods. In the end all they do is piss you off.

Best way to use the 510.

Take the stuffing out of a cart, and when you get a new atomizer they don't even have stuffing in the carts.

When you start a new atomizer make sure the battery is fully charged.

Puff on it dry for 3 or 4 hits.

Then add 2 drops into the atomizer. Puff on it hard for a while. Then add a few more drops. Let it sit for a while, and puff on it a little more. Then add another drop or 2 in it. Vape on it bit, and let it sit for a few mins before you do it again.

After that your atomizer is broke in pretty well.

When you go to vape add 3 drops into the atomizer. Take about 3 or 4 hits, and then wait a little bit before you vape again. You don't have to wait that long tho. About 3 drops is = to 1 full Cig.

Add more E-Liquid into it when the flavor starts to go away, and or changes into a different flavor.

No need to use carts, and if it floods just wipe off what comes out of the vent holes.

Replace the atomizer every 2 weeks. When you buy them at bulk they are around 6 dollars. So it's really not that bad $$ wise to replace them every other week. Some atomizers will last longer, but the kick in them starts to wear out after the two week mark.

Thank you everyone. :) Last night I really did feel just plain awful. I felt like I had the flu or something, so that combined with general irritation with the 510, I was really not in a good mood.

A couple of things: I don't hear any gurgling at all when I take a draw, nor does anything leak into my mouth. Now, if I pull off my cartridge, there is some juice that looks like condensation on the sides of it. Is that flooding? I hear some sort of a whooshing sound, but no gurgling. As for the flavor, it's not that it tastes like metal or chemicals, it's that both the flavors I got taste a lot alike --rather sweetish-- and I don't like them at all. I know that's part of the whole "getting your tastebuds normal again" thing, but I don't think I'll ever be able to get these flavors again. You know how if you happen to get sick while eating a certain food you can't really ever eat that food again without feeling a bit queasy? Yeah, that will be me. ;) I should have gone with something more "tobacco like", I think, to make the transition easier.

Hi JLeigh
Depending on how much you used to smoke and how much you're still smoking... there are some pretty high power withdrawals from the many poisons in .... logs.

At first I thought it was my body's reaction to e-cigs and after some research discovered that it was my body trying to de-tox from 30 years of 1.5 packs a day.

WhyQuit - Nicotine Withdrawal and Recovery Symptoms

The link gives info about possible withdrawal symptoms - keep in mind no one has research or cumulative data that speaks only to withdrawal from the 'smoke'- so the page claims to be 'nicotine' withdrawal.

BTW - there is no way to make a vaporized liquid 'taste' like smoke. . It's just not possible. The tobacco flaves can come close - but it just isn't smoke.

All the best - and there's lots more great info on the page link below!

I just don't understand someones need to embarrass someone...And everyone that I have seen here is just trying to help the OP, whether it's personal opinion or not...

Hi JLeigh (smile).. I don't think I ever seen you state what model e-cig you are using..I think that would help everyone help you trouble shoot ( the milk shake draw)..Some suggestions off the top of my head.. Play with how tight you have your atty screwed on sometimes a quarter turn makes a difference..If in doubt of atty flooding ( which can affect the draw (blow it out and start over).. Make sure your batteries are charged good.. Make sure to clean all contacts and threads well with alcohol/Qtip.. Assuming you have a spare atty..Switch to that one and see if your just dealing with a bum atty = tight draw..As well as switching out batteries... Sometimes the filler that comes in the carts are packed a lil too tight- preventing a nice draw..Getting a passthru solved all my inconsistent hits/ good vape everytime- later you may increase to mods etc.. It's all about trouble shooting which doesn't take long once you know what to trouble shoot...

As for the primer fluid, I have had to vape that off of some attys for days..Now I blow the primer fluid out and reprime the atty with eliquid..Goes much faster (You add a lil more drops then normal on the atty after being blown out - its thirsty..How many drops will depend on the atty model you have)

And yes for me, I didn't really enjoy vaping until I found a flavor I could vape all day..Taste is subjective yada yada...And different suppliers juices do indeed throw off more or less vapor/throat hit/taste
...Now I love eliquids from so many suppliers ( being a juicjunkie lol).. This is strictly a personal opinion But, If I am looking for consistent strooong vapor..I got to puresmoke or Nhaler.com..And I do think Drew (Nhaler) sells samples..Many new to e-cigs are overwhelmed with the sweetness in the flavors and want a more analog like experience (I know I did)..I've tried the majority of tobacco flavs.. I'd suggest trying Dunhill, Kent- both these have just a hiiint of sweetness... Cubin Cigar, Winston or Benson hedges for the lowest sweetness levels and dont be afraid to mix them ( none of the ones listed above have such strong background flavors that you cant mix them). I love throwing a touch of cinnamon in tobacco flavors...And always order that extra sample- cappuccino, fruit, mocha whatever. You never know what youll like...

Oh and deffinitely order a high nic liquid to use when youre really jonsing lol ( after dinner etc.. this really helps)

man stick to it. make sure you fully break in your atty and find a juice that you enjoy. maybe there is not enough nicotine in your juice. i use 36mg (since today actually, i used to use 18) and i can tell you the throat hit is like no analog out there. its like inhaling a cigar.... lol also you might not like tobacco flavor. im not a fan myself. try them out and you will find the hardware and liquid for you. im like 99% sure. i could never go back to smoking.

No, SC had it primed and ready to go.

I totally understand your frustration though. When something isn't right it can be very daunting.

The new parts do need primed and that metal taste will go away soon.

I think it is just a matter of your expectations.

I don't know if it is the nicotine level that gets it for me. 18 seems to be too much. 11 mg is just enough to keep the nicotine fits away but I think I can easily use a zero mg and a passthrough and make wonderful clouds.

You have to remind yourself that is isn't a cigarette and ask yourself what it is you are wanting and find the equipment that best suits that function. That's my 2 cents for what its worth.

I've been vaping for a little over two weeks now. I was a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker for many years. I came across a kiosk in a mall selling the SMOKING EVERYWHERE kit. I bought it, basically, as a goof. I wanted to get reactions "lighting up" in public places. Boy, was I surprised. I found that I actually enjoyed it. Within the past two weeks I also purchased an E-CIG XOX (pen style) and the ever popular TITAN 510. I've got to tell you guys, I haven't had an analog cig for two weeks! And....I have no desire to have one, whatsoever. My family is thrilled and frankly, so am I. I feel as though I've been freed from smoking forever. The electronic cigarette, in my opinion, is the best invention since the microwave oven. So.....VAPE ON!!!!!! (Let's just hope that the FDA doesn't take this away from us).

Footnote- The SMOKING EVERYWHERE e-cig was working well for about a week. Now it has issues. I tried dealing with the company and I must tell you that their customer service is TERRIBLE. These guys have no idea how to keep their customers happy. I would NOT recommend purchasing their product.

Okay, I did try the drip method and I like it MUCH, MUCH better. I get a consistent vaping experience with it (at least until the juice runs too low, which does seem to happen rather quickly). But, is this going to destroy my atomizer at a much faster rate?

A little faster, but I like too switch them out every 2 or 3 weeks. They are not really that much. I buy them at TW which makes them about (right now) 7 dollars a pop. So if I switch them out after two weeks it's only 3.50 for 7 days of use. That's if I switch them out at 2 weeks instead of 3 weeks. They seem to lose a lot of their kick after a few weeks of use. They still work just fine just not as well as a new one. They wear out just like using carts also tho within that much time.

Thanks! Also, how often are you dripping more in, on average? I just want to make sure I'm not overdoing it.

Its too confusing to explain and is off topic anyway. PM me if you really want to know why.
anyway, Ive tried an analog today and it tasted horrible. Guess the banana and peach are too good to switch back to analog menthols again.

Depends on how much I'm using it. Maybe 3 drops every 30mins or so. I do vape 36Mg, but sometimes I vape 24Mg when I use NHaler Liquid(if I didn't spike it up).

You get used to it, and soon don't even think about it.

Thanks again! That's very helpful. I'm dripping more in when I start noticing the throat hit is either gone or greatly reduced. It's been averaging out to about every 30 mins to an hour, depending on how much I'm using it. It is a bit of a pain, but it sure beats the heck out of filling the cartridge --I maybe got a decent hit one out of 5 times, if that, and I was forever trying to top it off.
