GeoGuessr - Let's explore the world!
It shows you a Google streetview of somewhere in the world, and you guess where it is by clicking on a map. Then it shows how far away you were. The closer your guess, the more points. You do that 5 times for a 'game.'
I use Chrome under WinXP, and the images are corrupted when they first appear, but grabbing the picture and turning it resolves the problem.
Sometimes there are signs (which feels like cheating), so at least you know the language (on one, I was going to guess Brazil until I notices a store's name was in Cyrillic).
It's a really addictive little thing -- I was only going to try it once. Half an hour later, I decided to do only one more. Then it was nearly another hour later . . .
Most frustrating -- I had four picks very close, a couple less than 100km away, but on one I thought it was Chile and it was New Zealand, so that blew my score.
