I looked at their site last night as well as some video reviews. I guess "rich" used to be called "rich tobacco", so that is what was throwing me off, plus the bad descriptions. Look up igetcha's reviews. He said there was a faint menthol smelling the "rich" even, then he said the same thing for the "fresh" but called it no flavor. I got no clue what they are putting in for that. The Rich isn't clear, pretty yellow. It looked plenty watered down too. It could be like 10-20% distilled water, but I am just guessing.
Nowadays they started selling FA flavors, but they formulated these before that, so it could be some no-name, pharma-grade flavorings. EM is similar to maltol, but stronger and more "jam-like" with strawberry nuances. Malt extracts are like 70% maltol. I would just get as many flavorings as you can that sound like they could be in it and experiment. I made a juice last night with all TPA stuff but it could be way off:
20 mini-pipette drops of 10% TA solution in PG (equivalent 10-15 normal drops?) - might have been too much or is the wrong tobacco.
4 drops Molasses, 4 caramel, 3 EM, 2 malted milk -- then I filled most of the rest of a 6ml bottle with base to like 5.5ml total. Tested it on a new HV 901 @ 4V and it was decent, pretty mild, little sweetness to it and a definite tobacco. You actually know what it tastes like though, so you have to do experiments like that.
It could be that they are using some chemicals solo, like 4,5-DIMETHYL-3-HYDROXY-2,5-DIHYDROFURAN-2-ONE, that you are never going to find in commercial flavorings alone. I wouldn't expect to necessarily get better than close without really knowing what you are doing.
