I currently use the AW IMR 2000s, they work good, but the extra capacity seems like a good thing.

I understand that the IMRs are aimed at high discharge applications, thus holding a higher voltage under load, but the IC 3100s are rated at 5 amps. Even using a 1.5 atty you wouldnt come close to 5 amps.

So, does anyone here use these?

They are way too long leaving no room for the spring to collapse and break contact in the event of a short.
I don't have it in front of me but I think they were like 3.5mm longer than the IMR.

Last place I checked they were only about 1mm longer. Ill go double check..

Dave at Super T did some load testing on these AW 3100 mAh batteries. The extra mAh is below the 3.5 volt discharge point, so they aren't so great for PV's. They're much better suited for low amp drawing LED flashlights.

The AW IRC 2600 mAh 18650 is your best bet for a Reo if you want more mAh than the AW IMR 18650.

My own testing indicates the same. The AW ICR 2600 mah 18650 is a very good battery for vaping. Though off topic regarding the Grand, I will mention that the AW ICR 14500 is probably the better choice for the mini with LR over the AW IMR 14500.
