I have one Vivi Nova left and I've been trying my best to kill it, lol.

vaping 1.4 and 1.2 OHM ekowool silica wicked coils thru it.....gave away a few to a buddy having a hard time giving up cigs, a neighbor.

Wanna switch exclusively to pyrex juice delivery systems, have the stuff (5 Pro tanks, 2 AGA T2's).....I just don't wanna toss a Vivi Nova that works.....

(vivi pic above was from late september)

I do enjoy the Protank. I think the nova gives u a little more flavor. Just slightly. But then, the Protank produces more vapor, for me. The thing I don't like about the Protank is the metallic taste of the built-in drip tip. Do u get that taste, too? It's not an overwhelming taste, but its there. And, like A LOT of ppl have said, it's too "airy". The air intake is huge for it but there r ways to fix it, I guess.

I cut my wicks or pull a couple of the strings out of the coil completely.
It allows me to suck more juice into the coil chamber when I have the tank tipped.
Some have said that by cutting the wicks shorter in a vivi nova.. It prevents the heavier flavors of your complex juices from collecting on the portion of the wicks toward the bottom and middle of the tank, which allows you to vape the full spectrum of the juice's flavors, while also aiding in absorption and in wicking to the coils. This is why I sometimes thin my wicks out (pull a few strands out completely) and/or cut my wicks a bit to aid in wicking. I love a well performing vivi nova tank.

Another thing you can do is cut the V slots in the rubber grommet. But this can cause problems with leaking. I've found that I can usually do what cutting the grommet does, by adjusting the little metal blocking ring within the rubber grommet. I've found that depending on where that ring is within the grommet, can sometimes effect the wicking of the juice, because it alters the airflow. I think what I've found is that the ring needs to be either toward the middle of the grommet, or toward the drip tip/lid of the tank. Keeping it down by the coil chamber impedes suction which in turn impedes wicking or sucking liquid into the coil chamber when the tank is tipped.
