Hi I've been vamping for 2 weeks and started with the g6 with mini tanks. I really like it, the only downfall I have is I would love a bigger tank and longer battery. I've had the triton in my shopping cart several times but haven't pulled the trigger mainly because I love the automatic battery vs manual and I've heard throat hit is more like a cigarette with the g6. Lastly I'm a little nervous about changing coils etc. any thoughts?

I started with the G6 but I hated using cartomizers. I upgraded to the triton and it was MILES better then the G6, but you lose the "cigalike" feel. Once I got tired of being restricted from being tied to that non 510 ego battery style halo uses I upgraded again to an istick 20w with a mini nautilus when they were on sale. Haven't looked back since. I'm currently using a lemo drop on my istick and looking back I wish I skipped the triton system and went for an istick mod instead since you have SO MANY more options with a 510 device.

I also wouldn't be nervous about changing coils. It is super simple and easy. You pretty much just unscrew it with your fingers and screw a new one on.
If you want to make your own coils, that gets alittle more complicated but you can do it easily after watching a simple youtube video on how to do it.

I also hated spending anywhere from 6 to 12 dollars for a pack of T2 / BVC coils that would only last me a month at most. Rebuilding a simple coil with cotton saves a ton of money too. ( If you decide to go the rebuildable route for vaping )

dun be afraid of teh Triton!!

1.) G6 carto's and mini-tanks fit on teh Triton!

2.) Bacon

3.) Triton tanks give a lot more throat hit and as earlier esplaind, the coils are super easy to swap out.

I still use my G6 at work and when i travel, because it's so small it fits in a pocket case. But at home, it's Triton all the way. Plumes of delishus vapor cling to my ceilings and my dogs luv when i blow vapor in their faces.....of course they also luv their own poop in their faces....hrmmm....

I started with the G6 for months. I needed the cig-a-like experience, the habit of just drawing on a cig feeling device and holding it like a cig to help me kick analogs. Then finally desiring more I tried the Triton VV battery then added the Triton tank then I just had to have more because I got more flavor, more vapor and a more satisfying experience. Try the Triton.......I promise you'll love it.:)

Hi, Fatassred. Welcome to vamping! And welcome to Halo.

The G6 is one of the best cigalike vapes out there. Stick with it for a while. It is a trade off from the thin form factor vs battery life and tank capacity. What might not be a bad idea is to get a 1,300 mAh Triton battery (with a Triton charger, the G6 charger isn't compatible!). Trade off the extra length with a battery that should last you 4 to 5 times longer per charge!

Yea, you hafta push a button, but it really is a non-issue after a very short while. We have a fellow Halon who started his +80 mother on the G6 and was afraid she couldn't use the button. (she has advanced dimentia) But she is on her 3rd month with the Triton!

I have other batteries and tanks, but nothing can make my beloved Malibu taste better than a Triton tank!

Halo do offer a 102mm G6 battery, only in black tho.

You are the freaking bomb! Thanks so much - I didn't know that and while black is not a color I would have really wanted - the extra juice in it makes it worthwhile! Wish they had that option in all colors - but yeah - this helps much! Going to order some right now! Thank you thank you thank you! Any idea how much longer they last than the middle sized one (which is what I have now)

Just a note on cost of coils. When using a light juice, as my mother is (Tribeca), I am currently on week number 6 on each of two Triton coils. I alternate them each week. Clean the one just off it's week of use and replace it with the cleaned one from the week before. That is about 75ml of Tribeca through each coil so far. I am keeping a record, just to see how long they last. So far, they look almost new after each cleaning.

i dont recall, i think the 70-ish mm G6's are in the 285mAH range, and the 102mm is just over 300....but i'm trying to remember based on a post i may or may not have saw a long time ago when i may or may not have been high on peyote and was definitely at least drunk and hungry. my guess would be given the size, it would only be about a 15-20% increase in battery life.

I tried every cleaning method extensively, they never tasted exactly the same as a fresh coil. I'm a flavor junkie and when I taste something that is off even if its only slightly, it just bothers me too much. The only halo flavor I could deal with after a cleaning was subzero, but thats because it's super strong menthol and it pretty much covers everything up anyways.

To each their own though!
