Hey guys,

I have used drippers since I got into the advanced vaping scene. I used to use clearos on an ego way back wehn but when I moved to mechs I started with an igow that I used for a year and now I am on a derringer. I love the full vape and flavor I get from the drippers but I have not tried a tank recently and to be honest, I am getting really tired of dripping all the time and having my atty leak all over my mod/hand/clothes/carseats/desk/guitar etc.

Any suggestions or thoughts from folks that have come over from drippers? Any one now use tanks exclusively?

Currently rockin a copper/brass color stingray clone so something that would look good on that is a plus.

I was a bottom feeder which is basically dripping from the bottom.
Around 2 months ago I tried Tanks and I haven't looked back. They've improved them to
the point where the only reason to drip is if you like to switch flavors a lot.

I recommend the Crown Tank and the Tobeco Super Tank Mini.
I also recommend you pair them with a regulated mod like the Evic Vt which at around $45.00 is a steal.

Or you could always try bottom feeding. The dripping experience but much neater.

Both the Aromamizer RDTA and the UD Bellus offer direct-to-coil airflow and RDA-like building decks with attached tanks. I'm torn between which I like more...

Squonking is another valid (and already mentioned) option. However, you do not have to separate squonking and regulated... the VaporFlask Squonk (and clones, and others) offer up to 60 watts of power with optional temperature control.

Yeah the RTAs that are coming out lately have super amount of airflow and put out clouds and taste just as goods as any RDA. There are a bunch of RTAs out there now that can handle 80 watts plus with the right build and produce an incredible amount of vapor. There are a bunch of clearomizers that can handle 80+ watt vaping. I have a ton of RDAs and they are all gathering dust. Unless you are into making giant dual parallel coils or quad coils and vaping at 120+ watts, there is no reason to vape rdas anymore...IMHO....YMMV.

Yeah I havent quite gotten into the regulated mods yet. To be quite honest I think they are all ugly. Also, I am pretty awful at building coils...maybe it is easier with the RTA? Not sure how many watts I would be pushing out. Just an 18650 battery. Supposedly its 40Amps but i dont believe thats possible in these batteries to be honest

I did exactly that left drippers for RTAs (Rebuildable Tank Atomizers)

I had Dripped with Magma, Veritas, Freakshow Mini, and the Rogue ( just to stop the darn leaking).

I saw reviews that told about the Goblin Mini. I hated Dripping every few minutes , and the leaks so I got a Goblin Mini clone on eBay. And the flavor to me was just as good as the Freakshow Mini the best flavor chasing atty I had tried.

Then Jim G introduced me to the Kayfun Nano and the flavor was between the Veritas and Freakshow Mini.

My left hand is messed up and trapping the leads under screw heads can be a real PITA so I need the post holes. So now I use three RTAs.

In the order of preference for flavor

Goblin Mini, Orchid, and Kayfun Nano. The Kayfun is about to fall off the wagon.

I rock all of them with a single coil .8-1 ohm

The GMini I use the silicone plug.

The Orchid I tamp cotton in the bottom of the juice wells on the unused side and screw down the chimney to hold the cotton plugs in place.

You may find my review of the GMini here. I started the review with "Darn I didn't think this was possible!"

I personally have never experienced better flavor from RDAs over RTAs. And I do have quite a few RDAs. I've never understood why people say that. I suppose if you want huge alien or other fancy coil builds, those won't fit on an RTA deck, but otherwise I feel RTAs or bf RDAs are superior. Don't shoot me :)

I'm not going to shoot you. I flat out agree with you.

The flavor between the GMini, Freakshow Mini, Rogue, and Orchid are so darn close there might as well not be any difference.

The Darang is maybe 1/2 step ahead of the four mentioned above and the Kayfun Nano maybe 1/2 step behind the four above.

Well I ordered the bellus from efun top so hopefully it gets here rather quicky and I can make my conversion haha

You will probably do great with the Bellus.

I could not get it to work for me because of my messed up left hand if I got the top fill tight it worked. But then it was too tight and couldn't open it. If i put it finger tight it leaked like a sieve.

It had 0 knurling for me to get a good grip on the top fill.
