I did exactly that left drippers for RTAs (Rebuildable tank Atomizers)

I had Dripped with Magma, Veritas, Freakshow Mini, and the Rogue ( just to stop the darn leaking).

I saw reviews that told about the Goblin Mini. I hated Dripping every few minutes , and the leaks so I got a Goblin Mini clone on eBay. And the flavor to me was just as good as the Freakshow Mini the best flavor chasing atty I had tried.

Then Jim G introduced me to the Kayfun Nano and the flavor was between the Veritas and Freakshow Mini.

My left hand is messed up and trapping the leads under screw heads can be a real PITA so I need the post holes. So now I use three RTAs.

In the order of preference for flavor

Goblin Mini, Orchid, and Kayfun Nano. The Kayfun is about to fall off the wagon.

I rock all of them with a single coil .8-1 ohm

The GMini I use the silicone plug.

The Orchid I tamp cotton in the bottom of the juice wells on the unused side and screw down the chimney to hold the cotton plugs in place.

Those two are still the only RDA's i use when i use RDA's , as far as tanks , i have used Orchids and others but lately i have reverted back to the EH Pro Kayfun lite V2's because i found a vendor thats sells them for $9.99 including shipping .

Well I am a horrible builder. Let me ask you guys, on these tanks...how long do coils last for you?

I am guessing that since it is a tank the wick never really gets dry so you dont have the burnout issue I have. I burn our wick all the time just because I try to make it one extra hit before a drip. I feel like my wicking skills are sub par as well lmao. I always end up with less cotton than the B&M guys that rebuild my coils. They use so much and twist it up really tight. I really just use less and dont twist and just let it slide in naturally. maybe I should try with thicker wicks.

I personally have never experienced better flavor from RDAs over RTAs. And I do have quite a few RDAs. I've never understood why people say that. I suppose if you want huge alien or other fancy coil builds, those won't fit on an RTA deck, but otherwise I feel RTAs or bf RDAs are superior. Don't shoot me :)

You're bound to get some flavor out of an RDA if you push 80-100 Watts through it.

With a well designed tank, high wattage isn't necessary to get excellent flavor.

IMO, there is a huge difference between flavor by good chamber and chimney design (RTA), and flavor via brute force(RDA).

The ones that argue RDA's have better flavor are usually the ones who can't coil and wick a Kayfun.

I can get a Kayfun Nano for about the same price from fasttech. The KFL+ base for $4.xx and a bell cap kit for $5-6 that has the Kayfun barrel, chimney and Bell cap

I think the Orchid has a little better flavor than the Kayfun Nano. If the Orchid had less flavor than the Kayfun; I would still prefer it over the Kayfun .

With the disability in my left hand I NEED post holes not want them because trapping leads under the screw heads of the Kayfun is a real PITA.

I change out the wick whenever the taste is off about 7-10 ml of juice. Sometimes more with clean vaping flavors.

But the coil a 26 gauge coil built to .79 ohms lasted for three months. Perhaps a little longer if I hadn't broken the coil removing that last wick. A 28 gauge coil had gone a bit over 2 months.

Hear hear. I get a lot of vapor out of the GMini, Orchid , and Kayfun Nano and almost never go above 17.5-20 watts.

Now I hope people will understand the leaking issuse with the Taifun, Aqua V2 and Bellus. Just don't have the strength in my thumb and index finger to really torque them down and if I did I wouldn't have the strength to get it apart again.

I would look at a tfv4 as the deck is huge, but my current daily driver is an obs crius. The newest version crius is velocity styled and has an awesome top fill. It is yet to leak a drop. I could see this rta being a little easier than some to build and fill. However that being said there are no coils for the Crius (rebuild only) and you may like the tfv4 because of the huge selection of coils.
I went from early subohm back to dripping and now am virtually retiring my drippers. The new subohm rta's blow the doors off earlier tanks and my rda's are for sampling diy batches lately.

Hear hear! I agree with your sentiment about drippers.

My only disagreement is the Tfv4.

Leaving them stuck buying coils, and the big coils devour juice. Grimmgreen said the tfv4 Mini lasted him 43 toots from full tank to empty.

I never used the Mini but basically the same.
Yes the triple and quads did vaporize juice by the bottle lol. But they have made more options, and I have found I like the single coil rba deck the kit comes with. I have not used a smok coil since the initial set. I am curious about the ni coils, and someone told me they have a mtl coil for it now. My vague point there was the rba section is good and you have coil options. The single rba is massive, I built a 5mm id spaced ni coil in it playing around. But I digress, just throwing out there that investing in a tank like this could work well if someone has issues building all the time.

Personal vite for Billow V2 or similar, screwless fill tanks that also allow you to service the deck without having to dump the juice. And glass/steel, regular size/"nano" is always a plus in my book as well.

Everything thing you said about the Billow V2 was true.

I know BECAUSE I had one. It is nicely built, no fill port, can work on the build without dumping the juice.

It has two issues where I was concerned.

23 mm diameter instead of the standard 22 so will hang over some mods.

I built the V2 Nano twice and could not get any decent flavors out of it without going high wattage. To get decent flavor out of it you will need 50 watts of higher.

Give me a Kayfun Nano, Orchid, or Goblin Mini tootling along at 15-20 watts any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I sold my Billow V2 Nano on eBay. Glad to get $18.50 for it.

We basically agree. Imagine that.

I never had either the regular or the mini.

I am so happy tootling along with a Kayfun Nano, Orchid, and Goblin Mini I never bought one.

Grimmgreen hated the regular because it leaked and liked the mini.

I didn't know it came with the tfv4. I thought it was extra. Thank you for that piece of data.

Does the RBA guzzle juice as many of the coils did.

43 toots on the tfv4 Mini from full to completely empty is INSANE.

The kit I got came with the single rba deck, a triple and a quad. These are all I tried. The sell a dual coil rba deck which I never tried. The Mini comes with different coils if memory serves. I glanced real quick they do have a 1.5ohm coil now as well as a sextuple lol. I have been using the single rba for several months. I get respectable clouds, flavor and mileage per tank, I have been using ni @ .1ohms with never a leak.

With your hand the way it is, I think you may very well enjoy the velocity deck on the Aromamizer. It's blind holes make coiling a walk in the park. Wish it was top filling, but it isn't.

It doesn't have the leaking issues the Bellus has, although if you bottom fill the Bellus rather than top filling it, the leaking issue is pretty much eliminated.

Fan out the wicks in the jeuce wells with either, and leaking during normal use is just about eliminated. Especially with the Aromamizer. FastTech has a fantastic sale on it right now, use code MAP. Drops it from the 44 dollar range to the 27 dollar range.

I have both of these RTA's and for me the flavor is better than the Veritas or magma. Although I enjoy them both as well. They can't match the Bellus or Aromamizer for convenience or flavor. For me at least.
