So my apollo e-cig refills were supposed to be here yesterday and never arrived.

I am going on vacation for two weeks and have one cartridge, this is not good!

Right before I left I grabbed some cartridges my room mate had for another brand. I see that with apollo it looks like I can take the end off (the white part with the hole) and pull out the paper stuff and put the other brands in there. Has anyone ever tried this successfully? Thanks!

What? Are these cartridges that go on an atomizer? Or cartomizers that need no atomizer and screw right onto the battery?

I do not understand why you would removed the stuffing to put other brands in? With cartridges you can rinse and dry the stuffing and put it back in and use different juice. With cartomizers most people keep them damp with liquid to get a week of use out of each. But you have automatic batteries with an open hole in the threaded end of the battery? You need to be careful not to leak juice on the end of your battery or you could kill the battery.

These are cartridges that screw onto a battery...so the battery is seperate lets not think about that...

So I have the cartridge for the apollo. The part where you suck on has a end cap and a hole. I can pull that piece off and there is this paper stuffing that must have the liquid on it. Now I am wondering if I can pull the wet stuffing out of a new cartridge from a different brand and put it in the apollo one.

Then they are called cartomizers aka cartos (even though some 1-model rebranders just call anything cartridges)

Re your question? No idea. Never heard of anyone taking the wet stuffing out of one carto and putting it in another. We usually buy prefilled cartos and keep them damp to get more use or buy blank cartos and fill them with juice.

But I don't think Apollo is compatible with anything. Somebody said they asked and was told it was not.

Don't pull the stuffing out of the cartomizer, IF it is a cartomizer. Your lingo is confusing us i think.
Cartomizer - 1 piece, screws onto battery. Stuffing AND atomizer built internal.
Atomizer - U- shaped heating element. Screws onto battery, Cartridge - seats over atomizer, has stuffing ( or FILLER ) as ecig lingo.

Which one do you have ?

First pic- Cartomizer or (Carto)
Second pic- Atomizer or (Atty )

The apollo works with cartomizers.

The battery itself is not compatible with other atty or cartomizer products (thread is 108 and a representative of the company assured me it was a non standard threading.

I wouldn't remove the filler, if you stuff new filler in there I think you have a big chance on burning the filler and screwing everything up. What I would suggest is trying to clean the cartomizer (there are some ways to rejuvinate a carto) and drop some other e-juice in there...

Let them rest long enough and don't over-fill them too much, or you'll kill your batteries...

Ditto - I would not run the carto so dry that I singe it, and would add a compatible juice to keep it damp.

Your problem is your cartos did not arrive and you are asking if your friend's carto or cart stuffing w/ elquid can be put into your carto instead of the current stuffing. You could try, may end badly. You will probably be a pioneer in this particular endeavor. Maybe you will succeed.

VaporsearchUSA.com - you may be able to find eliquid locally. Also Some 7-11's sell ecigs if you need something to tide you over. Ditto for some tobacco shops (though usually mystery overpriced) and some gas stations may sell disposable ecigs.

Caveat - may void your warranty to be refilling or restuffing if the company doesn't want customers to do that. And re battery - any battery with a hole in the middle of the threaded end is at risk if a cartomizer leaks because it will leak right over that hole.
