As I moved into RDA's and mods I kind of forgot about the mini eGo's.
I stumbled onto this combination I thought I'd share with everyone.
It's brought back my interest in the mini eGo's :)
smok 350mah mini eGo with tank type thread cover and an IGO-S using a 1.5ohm coil and mini drip tip.
Looks really stealth vapes as well as the big boys...

Yeah I just killed an ego battery with a RDA I guess they can't handle a .5ohm coil it was a knock off ego battery though the real one just flash and won't fire. I love those IGOs I have a few and they work just as good as the more expensive one its all about how you build the coil.

I just ordered two of the Smoktech 450mah eGo Minis in Stainless at LiteCig USA along with 4 Stainless Evods some extra heads (I'll be rebuilding them with 1.6ohm micro coils and cotton wicks) and 2 eGo chargers. This will be my "snack" vape setup for when I want one of my 4 go to desert vapes, Mt Baker's Dutch Apple Pie, Peanut Butter, Bananas Gone Nuts and Big Willie's Vanilla Custard. My ADVs, Mt Baker 555, AVE Gorilla Juice or Bobas Bounty will have a permanent home on my Kayfun + Neme Mod setup in 18350 mode.

I had to jump on these when I saw this pic:

Just got my Smoktech 450mAh eGo Mini yesterday, and I'm happy with the size -- as a recent convert from analogs, I'm still kind of put off by the size of some of the things I see you guys sucking on :) Same shipment had the eGo Twist 650mAh, which I know is small in comparison to so many other batteries, but looks monstrously huge to me... Waiting still on a Davide Mini Glassomizer to go with the 450mAh.

Thinking of getting some of the 19mm Smoktech Shorty cartomizers to pair with it -- that'd make for a stumpy little setup at 78mm total.

I can't really speak to performance, taste, etc., as all I have to compare to is my V2 cig-a-like.

Oh, this setup is da bomb. I've been using it for months and months, but I'm glad to see that VV has the 450s for less than my previous supplier.

I carry two minis and two evods in a foam lined Altoids tin. Very pocket friendly, and it allows me to have a backup. BTW, the tin works for EVOD 650 mAh regulated batteries as well.

Has anyone measured these with a multimeter? Do they really start off at 4.2v when fully charged? How long before they drop below 3.5v? My current Egos are regulated at around 3.4v but I'm giving them away to a buddy of mine that is just getting started. If these pack the extra punch like my fully charged mech mod does they will be wonderful with rebuilt Evods for my secondary vape purposes.

I had to pick up this kit tonight, even though I already had 2 minis

Mini Ego Kit

Responding to a post over a year old, I know, but this deal is still out there...

I already have an eGo 450mAh (at 60mm), and I'm waiting on some Shorty 1.7 cartos (at 19mm), a Shorty eGo cone, and a Super Shorty drip tip (at 13mm) -- for a diminutive finished product at 92mm. But I just had to pull the trigger on the Hoosier deal, which is down to $32.29 ($33.99 - 5OFF coupon code coming to $1.70). At rates that seem about average (after spending a more time than I should have shopping around), that looks to be about $40 to $50 worth of gear, and all from one shop. I had a pretty hard time finding all the individual pieces available (lots of parts out of stock) at a single site, so shipping (though a little higher than I expected) is certainly less than if I'd gone with multiple vendors.

I may have been able to put it all together for less -- I did just pick up 10 of the Smoktech Shorty 1.7ohm cartomizers for $1.09 each ($1.59 seems to be the standard), and the 350mAh batteries are available at FastTech for $6.11 (as opposed to the $10 - $13 at most sites). But for the convenience of not having to wait for shipping from China, seems like a screaming deal.

The 350mAh is a whole 4mm shorter than the 450mAh -- which probably isn't much of a deal as you lose 23% of the oomph -- putting the total length at just a couple millimeters longer than a Marlboro. But I'm getting a little OCD about putting together the squattest rig I can. Hoping I can squeeze a 10ml bottle of juice in that case and carry it along with the 2 batteries and the 5 cartos around in my pocket.

Thanks for the link to that, DKS-1 -- glad I took the time to read this whole thread!

VapeMail! Finally got my EVODs and Mini Egos in the mail a few minutes ago. Built 1.6ohm micros in them with cotton wicks and put my favorite dessert vapes into them. Highly impressed by how well this setup performs. Doing a chain vape taste to see how fast they discharge and where the voltage goes after a while of use. I tested them on a multi meter and they do indeed pump out 4.2v fully charged like a mech battery without regulation. I still have a passthrough 650mah Ego-C on deck in case these crap out on me on the road.

These minis are Smoktech branded, and regarding the 5 click on/off yes these do have that but you have to click 5 times slowly with a steady rhythm unlike on my genuine Ego-C where I can click 5 times very quickly. If I click very quickly the features doesn't work.

FYI, my TankO'Meter that I use to measure the battery voltage on my Nemesis clone works on the mini Egos so that is confirmation that the output is not PWM and definitely not regulated in any way. Been vaping a single one for 1 1/2 hours almost chain vaping it and it's down to 3.85v from 4.2v. Not bad!

EDIT: Hmmm... The TankO'Meter works on one of them but not the other one. Strange... My multi meter reads both of them correctly though.

EDIT2: The TankO'Meter works once the voltage drops below 4.1v. Been vaping the first one for 4 hours heavily and its now at 3.5v, still usable and firing obviously less punch and flavor but its still kicking.

EDIT3: Half an hour later it quickly dropped to 3.3v and shutdown. 4 1/2 hours of heavy vaping is pretty good in my book. Thats a long night out or a full work day with two mini's.
