I recently switched from CE2 cartomizers/dripping to the vivi nova mini and it's a fantastic setup that requires much less maintenance.

I've also switched from regular old short 510 batteries to the 98mm 650mah ego twist.

My problem is that the ecig no longer feels portable. It sticks out of my jacket pocket, and it's much harder to be discreet with it (the old 510 setup fit entirely in the palm of my hand, and I could use it anywhere without anyone noticing that I'm vaping.

The ones I have found:

60mm 400mah eGo mini battery: 510 Mini eGo Battery (400mAh,3.7v) [C-B7 Vision 510] - $8.40 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

57mm 350mah ego mini battery Black eGo Battery, 350mAh

44mm 300mah SD keyring The SD KeyRing Ecig £13.99 - Basic Vaping Kits - SD KeyRing Ecig Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

42mm 350mah ego mini battery 350mAh Mini EGO Battery

Seems like there are a lot of variations of the ego mini style battery, lots of different lengths and sizes. Can anyone shed some light on this? Are there really that many different batteries or are people miscalculating the lengths/specs on these?

Which short battery do you folks recommend? Wide batteries are ok, the length is my main concern.

I think it comes down to JoyeTech/Ovale designing & coming out with a device then every other manufacturer copying them to slightly different specs.

I like the SDK but its an auto battery. No light though. Probably one of the stealthiest batteries. I put the VVN on it just for fun:

The SDK is 43mm, ends up at about 107mm total with VVN. The make the Maxi too which I think is 600mah.

I'm starting to think the 42mm ego batteries are a myth, and that they are all actually about 55-60mm.

I contacted 3 places (including one manufacturer) that were advertising 42mm batteries and each one replied that their batteries are actually ~55mm

I've also heard that the SD keyring is prone to accidentally turning on in loud environments, something I would like to absolutely avoid.

So if no one has any other recommendations I think I'm going to go with the 60mm ego battery from health cabin since it's the cheapest :)

Never had that happen.
The SD is very powerful for its size...
