I watched PBusardo's review of it and it looked pretty neat. I liked the ability to use cartos (i'd prefer using my stock of already purchased cartos, it comes with 3 different adapters) and it has a built-in passthrough ability also. I believe it had the lockout feature, and LED indicator for battery level. Just wondering if these are good devices or if there's something else that's pretty much the same. All i've used for ecigs so far are Volt batteries, I haven't delved into the bigger battery dept's yet. I haven't came across many familiar sites that sell these Lea Krosses is one of my biggest concerns i guess.

Hi Takirb, The kross looks like a nice enough ego sized device but, for the price(if you could find one) you could have a pair of bigger batteries and an adaptor. I always appreciated the look of the innokin batteries but was never bold enough to spend my hard earned cash to test it. If you are looking to get a dependable big battery theres plenty of devices available. Most vapeshops will have a selection of adaptors like 510to808 such as what you would want. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Which ego-type device is the closest to the kross? There's so many kgo/ego-t-c/etc stuff that I'm quite lost when telling the differences. I watched a kgo review but it didn't show a usb passthru function. If i buy an 808 adapter, that means I can use my 808 cartos and simply get rid of the atty part right? Except for if I want to drip to sample some juices is what I'm thinking(??).

Yes you are right. If you mean the usb pass throught then you are looking for one like.....Joye eGo USB Battery 650mah or this Joye EGO USB Manual 900mah Battery these are folks who I have ordered from in the past, and will again in the future. But they both also sell adaptors for the 510to808 on their sites. This would give you a pass through large battery and the flexibility of being able to run 510 and LR cartos that the 808 wont like to run. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Hey takirb.. I have a KGO and really love it. For just a couple bucks I got and 808-510 adapter so I could use all the 808 cartos I already had and it worked just fine. KGO doesn't have a passthrough, but these batts last all day and into the next. One of the fine vendors here gave me an EGO-T passthrough as a gift and I really like that one too, for when I'm in my chair with my laptop. But really, my heart belongs to the KGO. I've looked at bigger mods and stuff, and I'm just so happy with my KGO that I think I'd rather spend my money on more KGO batts.. for me it was the perfect upgrade from my small 808 device. Just my two cents :2c:

Hi takirb, those things look nice but from a brief glance they appear to be 'way overpriced for what they are, IMO. The battery is rated at (I believe) 650mAh - same as a standard eGo - which these days isn't a lot of power. Figuring (ball park) 100mAh = 1 hr. between charges for the "average" vaper, that's just 6:30 time. A KGO kit costs less than $45 & comes with two 1100mAh batteries. The adapters are 2 - 3 bucks each. I don't know what the output voltage is on either of these PVs but I *think* on the KGO it's a regulated 3.7 volts. On the Joye eGo standard 650 batteries it was/(is?) 3.4 or so. Anyway that's something you might want to check on before buying, because on your KR808s they should have been at least 3.7 volts off the charger. I'm no authority on this stuff but if you run your 808 cartos at .3 volts less than you've been running them you *will* notice a drop in performance.

Please note: I haven't thoroughly researched much of the info above - some I know to be true, some of it is just "best guess" stuff - but I'm tossing it out here in the hope that *you* will check it out so you can get the best bang for your buck.

Best of luck, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Alright, I've looked into the KGO starter kits and they look really nice. Though there's no passthrough function, the battery life of 1100mah should solve that. Not bad pricing either, since it comes with 2 batteries. I've also found the 510-808 adapters, got that done. Now, I'm seeing people using Boge LR DCC cartos, tanks, etc. Those tank options look pretty nice, no filler and just dip the liquid in, eyeball when Its low. What are some good tank or cartos to use with the KGO that hold more than my standard 808's, but don't leak as many people seem to complain about (clearomizers seem to get a lot of complaints)? Are they typically 510 threading or would I need some cone/adapter deal per carto/tank? Will i still have the option of using the included atty and empty tank-thing to sample flavors? And how about cleaning those tanks, is it easy to do or do i have to purchase new when i change juice? Sorry for all the questions, the KGO thread in the ecig general forum seems to already be 3yrs ahead of my ecig knowledge :(
