so eager to try an e cig I went out to 7 11 to get the xhale kit.

Well....I don't know, I am not sure if this is enough for me. There is something missing, most likely the lung hit is what's missing. It is a 16mg so possibly not enough dosage for me?

Has someone done it with xhale? Are all ecig pretty much going to be not able to satisfy my needs? A little bummed now... I really was hoping this will work!!

I have not tried xhale, but don't give up yet. If it has nic in it, it will help. As far as TH, you might need to look into another option. My personal favorite is SmokeStik, but it is pricier than some other options. You can get into a starter kit for $30 on some of the vendors on this site. Keep in mind that you will also need some extra juice or replacement carts. Don't give up!

I don't think you're doomed to failure. I think your XhaleO2 and your nic level are probably doomed. You might want to try out a KR808 model or a 510. If you want your batteries to last longer between recharges, then consider a Riva or an eGo. You can up the nic level to 18 or even 24 to get a better hit. I started at 18, but bumped it to 24 and for a while I vaped both levels. That's the beauty of vaping....you customize it to fit YOU. Xhale got you started and that's a good thing, but it sounds like it's time for you to get a quality PV.

I never heard of that product, but generally the products at convenient stores or the malls are not all that good. I use a 6 volt device and the lung hit (TH) is much more than that of a standard cigarette. When I first started vaping I used a KR808d-1 using 36 mg / ml juice; the lung hit (TH) was equal or greater than that of a cigarette. So no, do not give up. Try a different product and/or a higher mg juice.

I don't know what an "xhale" is, so I am not sure I'm the one who can help you. I go by the fittings and could care less about the brand names. Is it a 510, 901, 808...? I'm a 510 user and love it. I have many 510 MODs and of course the name brands in the 510s, such as Ego, Riva, and T-Rex. I don't know if you have something that you can easily get cartomizers for or atomizers for at suppliers. Play around with it. Read the Forums and educate yourself on the different e-cig fittings, atomizers, and cartomizer use and then use a reputable company mentioned here rather than wasting your money.

I'm sure someone else will come along who can help you better. I also didn't want you to be sitting here with no response and we are supposed to help our new comers out. Don't give up just yet. You just need good, working equipment and a good e liquid and then you will be amazed.

I started with an xhale O2. It wasn't right for me, but was enough to get me interested in vaping. I wouldn't recommend it for long term use, but does make a good starting place if you don't want to wait to get an order in. I found the nic the right level for me, but the vaor production wasn't there. After using it for a week and reading the forums I felt I was educated enough to buy something that would be more long term, which I kept for almost 2 months, then upgraded again. There are always new vaping toys to play with and I would never have started had it not been my little XhaleO2.

i haven't used an xhale but i love that its getting e-cigs out there in the mainstream and it has led a bunch of people to the forum. from what i've read its actually a fairly decent little unit. if i ever see one i'd probably buy it just to support it.

my tip for smaller e-cigs is take a slow drag, don't try hitting it like a cigarette. the smaller atty needs time to do its job and produce the proper vapor.

Brand names mean very little in ecigs.

xhale/smokestick/cloud9/whatever. What matters is the type of atomizer and type of battery. cloud9 and smokanywhere are both rn4081s. Any rn4081 will fit another device of the same type. I don't know what type xhale is. Common ones are 801, kr808, 901, 510, 301, and a few others. 510s are very popular because they produce a lot of vapor but are also run quite hot and are hard on their batteries. 901 is not unlike 510 but less intense and has longer lasting batteries. I personally smoke a 510 which i bought after buying a cloud9. Ten minutes after my first smoke when the thing came in the mail I gave away all my cloud9 stuff.

From what I can see on their site it looks a heck of a lot like an rn4081. The rn4081 is very small and truly cigarette sized but produces light vapor and has a truly tiny juice reservoir. Some are also of exceptionally poor quality. If you have a rn4081 all is not lost. They do have the advantage o being very cigarette like and having long lasting unusually well behaving auto batteries. Because of the very light vapor though you may want a higher nicotine level to offset the low output. The website states 20$ for 10 prefilled carts which considering the size of a 4081 cart is a truly execrable deal. My suggestion is buy a sample 10ml bottle of 24mg or 36mg juice from one of the juice makers listed here. ~4-7$ should about cover it. Since the 4081 carts hold something like a third of a ml that's like buying 20-30 carts for a quarter the price.

Thanks to everyone responded.

The xhale again, is not that bad, I mean, the vapor is decent, throat hit is there, although I dont have anything to compare so I can only compare to my regular cigarette. I did give in and smoked a cigarette :( sad to say I enjoyed the cig so much the difference is too obvious.

I do have a kr8 and an ego on their way, I hope they will make it here before the new year. Yeah I am one of those impatient ones thats why I went and get the xhale while waiting. All they have is the 16mg, they have auto batteries there is no button to press. And yes they look just like a cigarette, when i opened the case i was like, wow, very nice, unfortunately the taste is just not satisfying enough for me.

I have smoked over 20 years, benson hedges methol light a pack a day. Do you think it really is the nic level, that i need more than 16mg?

Again thanks for all the encouragement, I am not giving up yet, I am crossing my fingers the kr8 and ego will do the trick!!

I started with the xhaleo2 from 7-11 too. It was weak, but enough to show me that the technology had potential. I kept smoking my backwoods cigars while I waited for the Roughstack from madvapes.com, and 36mg juice. I wanted to make sure I had enough battery power and the strongest juice I could find.

It worked! As soon as I got the madvapes stuff I was done with smoking. I had half a cigar the first day and didn't like it compared to vaping.

Your new equipment will do the trick. If you still want to smoke I recommend trying a higher mg juice. 36 worked great for me.

Good luck,

I started with 901 and 24mg nic juice but it turned out to be too strong for me so I cut it down to 18mg. I was a 20 plus a day smoker. I was quite happy with 901 only the batt life bothered me so I switched to ego after a couple of months. The first weeks are always the hardest to adjust and also need time to learn how to get a good draw from your PV. This is the challenging learning process when you get juice in your mouth, low vapor, less TH but soon you'll get a grip on it.

I started with the xhale02 also. Just to see if vaping might work for me. Truly a horrible little device. The battery was tiny, the refills were small and the taste was wretched. It did however convince me that I could switch to a PV instead of analogs. I ordered a better device the next day and have not smoked an analog since.

Tried and bought many devices here in the last couple of months but have finally landed on a setup that works for me. Silver Bullet at home and a BB for work and while out. Only use juice from Backwoods Brew and Vapor Escence.

To people I introduce to PVs I recommend getting a BB at a minimum for a device and juice at 24mg or higher with one of their flavors being some sort of tobacco flavor.
