This is not really a comparison to any adjustable voltage VV. This is emulating tube mods that carry different battery combinations. 3.7, 5 and 6V I believe (although 5v isn't really a batt combo, but a regulated with - usually - 2x14500's).

It is a 3 stage variable, and while I can see the usefullness, at that price, I think I would just pick up a lavatube and get the full spectrum.

That was what I wanted to know. I thought it was a vv not a 3 stage. Thank you

Was revisiting this thread, and I think we need to push for vendors to use another designation for these 3-stage devices. This isn't the first one to be called VV. Maybe SV would be better for Selectable Voltage....

Discuss. ( lol )

I agree it is confusing. Also when you read the details it says vv not 3 stage
