I would love to give a shout out to these Boges. The laser slotted interested me as I've got one particular tank that has never ever fed well. Even with four punched holes, I would basically have to drip into it... all the time.

I am incredibly pleased with the laser slotted ones for this hard-to-feed carto tank. I have not tried them on any other tanks yet.

The vertical slot however, is a bit too high up (nearly centered) on the tube for my liking. It just means that one might have to pay more attention to the vliquid level in the tank. No bigs, but just pointing that out.

I vape primarily Nitelitevapor which is 65/35 PG/VG, SR slotted Boge at 4.5v. It's wonderful to have finally found a carto that works in the tank! :vapor:

I've used the laser Slotted cartos. In my opinion, they are unnecessary. I've never had a wicking issue with laser punched boges, and I mostly vape 100vg.

Really, the only difference between the two(not speaking for thin juice that may flood) is that the slotted version is a bit difficult to fill via condom because the slots stick out above the condom and allow juice you come out of the filler. Not a big deal, but I won't order them again unless the regular punched versions are out of stock.

I'm really happy with these. I got standard length to use with Virgin Vapors juices, which seemed to wick slowly. I didn't prime them until after the tank was filled. Then I used the thermometer method of priming. (I know, I was nervous about hucking a tank into the wall) It worked great, and I haven't seen any flooding issues. Like the vape way better than the smoktek carts too. Fuller flavor and better vapor, IMO.

I HATE HATE HATE the laser slotted cartos.......i was using the f16s which are amazing in flavor, vapor production, and they last me at least 3 days, i bought some of the slotted cartos about 3 weeks ago because i wanted the ability to use other drip tips. What a mistake! I though i just got a few duds at first but ive noticed they dont last longer than 24 hours before i start getting a burnt taste and muted flavor yuck! I am using a blend of 70 vg 30 pg, i keep my carto saturated. The ohms are typically 2.2 as tested on my provari and i run them at a max of 3.5 volts which is low for me, but they tend to last longest that way. Dont really need advice on technique, i can guarantee you i am no newb when i comes to tanks or vaping. I am just curious if anyone else had this issue. I probably vape more than some, but the boge f16s which are SC could withstand my vaping amazingly, the boge xl lr slotted cartos not so much!

I use the LR Slotted Boges with no problems what so ever on my MVP 2.0 at 4 Volts 7.5 Watts. Have them in 3 ibtanks and a Phianiac Tank, and taste is great and so is vapor production. Just ordered a pack of 5 LR and a pack of 5 SR to tryout. I just feel that I don't have to worry about it wicking since the slot is pretty descent. Using 70/30 good life vapor and no issues what so ever. Also sure vapor gave me free shipping so that's a plus. Also like the single hike Boges also.

I just started using these (bought in box so far. I have kept my tank full, as I am concerned about how it will react when my juice level goes below the top of the slot. Can you guys give me your experiences with this? Does it stop workung correctly if the juice is not covering the entire slot? Thanks

I had that concern as well, as I typically dremmel-drill horizontal slots. But I think the vertical slot ends up pulling juice in there pretty well, must be a vaccum/negative pressure effect. I can't always tell if my various cartos are boge or ikenvape, but I'm talking here about LR platinum slotted ones.

I run 80/20 and --preslotted or dremmel slotted -- I really never flood with cartos unless I hork on it too much with primer puffs. so, of course, YMMV

Yeah I tried one slotted carto as a freebie from surevapes.com on a boge xl LR punched carto order. I'm always thankful for free stuff so I checked it out and used it in a tank of Gorilla Juice with a cheapie boge plastic carto tank (which I really love cause it hardly weighs anything). Works great on anything, but great on an Ego Twist (not top heavy at all like a pro tank).

Just remember guys, wear safety glasses and put something down to catch the metal dust from shavings.

Same with me!! They leak!! AND FLOOD!!! All except for 1 or 2 of them that I made work by not priming the carto much at all. I have been researching this problem and a few people have stated that the flooding could be due to worn out O rings. I would agree except that I first started using them on a brand new IBTanked - tank.

Been using em a while now. They wick fantastic... I just got ibtanked tanks last week and thats when flooding started. Using the 'thungy' to prime em is not a great idea imo as juice is pushed down and out the connection. Not enough juice goes up. I do not have to drip in em cuz after I fill the tank and dry puff a few times it is totally saturated. Just gotta be careful.

Fyi boge f16 users-I love em too and find that derlin tips work pretty well in em-they fit good for me, so far. Just an idea for new drip tips. If anyone has found another tip that fits the f16's please let us know?

:) have a great day!
