I got an Iclear 16b with my MVP 2.0 (Energy Series) Starter Kit.

I am a very happy user of my Mini Protank 2.

It appears this is a dual coil BCC. It looks like a larger Evod, in that it has a protective cover on the tank and a metal base.

It's pretty nice looking, but I'm a little reluctant to use it since it's a plastic tank and I haven't seen any Iclear 16b coils around, so I'm not sure how much those would cost.

I even went to Innokin's website and these are so new, they are not listed on their webpage yet. Neither is the new MVP 2.0 energy series.

Anyone have any experience with this. I might give it a vape this weekend and give my impressions.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Well, I've given the Iclear 15b a vape while cleaning and boiling my PT2 minis.

It is a plastic dual coil BBC, If I were to compare it to anything, It would be most like a Kanger Evod or T3S/MT3S. It is larger than the Evod. I didn't notice any increase in vapor quality or taste compared to the PT2 or Evod. It does have a higher capacity.

The tank is encased in a metal shell and the threads connecting the tank to the base are metal so it seems to be better made than some of the other Iclear tanks in which the plastic itself is threaded.

The unit looks real good on my MVP 2 but that is not reason enough alone for me to use it regularly. I have no idea on what pricing for replacement heads will be as I have not seen them available anywhere.

While it is an attractive clearomizer, It's not a game changer in my book. The plastic construction of the tank is a deal breaker for me and while easier to fill, it is harder to clean than a mini PT2.

If Innokin decides to make a pyrex version of this unit, I might re-evaluate, but with this unit, I feel I am just using twice as much juice with no real difference in vapor production or flavor.

I'll continue to use my mini PT2's for the time being.

For bottom dual coils instead of piled on top of each other the
newest type of HEADS to inter the field Innokin's Intersecting Coils.. are also on
the IClear 16 B just like their IClear 30 B's

I have some 16'b and extra coils headed in from Hoosiers.com
If they're resulting use is anywhere near as good as I've had from
the big brothers the 30B... this old man is going to be
one pleased individual..

i got an iclear 16b the other day. i like it... but i've heard others say that they coils are tough to pry apart (for rebuilding purposes). my purpose is to try and clean the coils, as i'm starting to get a not so great taste after using a head for 5-6 days (7-8 tanks worth). my normal procedure on an evod would be to pull the needle part off, exposing the coils, rinsing, soaking, dry burning, letting dry, then using. since i can't seem to get the metal head part off to expose the coils, anyone either know a good trick to get it off? or a good way to clean? thanks in advance! ;)

Nope... darn things (heads) are a made to be a single piece...
I have had nothing but the best of results from these smaller dual coils Innokin has put in the 16 b
compared to how fast Innokin's 30 B goes down hill so quickly...
Two week later and
the Innokin's 16 B's I'm using are still working as perfect as day one...
great flavor and big clouds of vapor...
but NOPE can't be rebuilt... and because of drip tip and body being one piece
along with airshaft not being able to be removed ... makes the 16B a little rough to clean and dry properly.
But still and all... the flavor and vapor they kick out is wonderful... and sure beats their big brother the 30 B
when it comes to differences between the heads (coils) performance...

thanks for the response! the head that you're using for 2 weeks with the 16b, have you cleaned it in any way, either with rinsing/soaking or dry burning? also, the drip tip on my 16b actually does come off! i doubt it's a manufacturing error, haha, but it seems to be a separate piece, just wiggle lightly on the drip tip and you'll see what i mean. don't think you can use another drip tip on the unit though, pretty sure it's still proprietary.

Some how I must have gotten an earlier version drip tip... as mine will not come off...
as for cleaning ... I'm still rolling along with great results... same to date as wonderful as the very first day...
suppose when I do have to clean them... I will do just as you say "rinsing/soaking" tough to see for dry burning
but will make that attempt anyway. Sure appreciate the updates between the two of us... thank you.

ego-T got me started and was nice, but always had the setback that you had a chuck a good chunk of hardware on account of one itsy-bitsy piece of wound wire. Irked me no end.

To the point that anything that isn't rebuildable ( even if it hasn't been originally desgined that way ) won't make it into my shopping cart. Amazing how much mileage ( or should that be milliliterage ? ) one can get out of single coil head :)

I should have my 16b on Wednesday along with five 1.8 ohm coils. I'll find out if you can dry burn them.

What I do with my Kanger coils is boil them first then after they cool and dry I remove the stem and flavor wick and dry burn. The boiling removes most of the gunk and makes for a easy dry burn.

I'm shocked. I ordered the 16b on Saturday on eBay. I figured it would go out today and I would have on Wednesday. Well it arrived today. It actually was shipped on Saturday from CA and arrived this morning in SC. Now that's fast shipping.

Now to wash it out and give it a workout.

Opinion?......
