I hear they are pretty good devices. A problem with them jumping out of TC if you have a high resistance TC coil. I all the bad I have heard.

P. Busardo had a review on you tube about them, pretty good.
I've been using it for a while now and for the price point it's pretty great. My only complaints about it are: 1) it sometimes goes into these wild temp swings; removing the atty and reattaching seems to fix it 2)as the coil ages, it seems to not be able to read it accurately so the vapor/flavor production drops off. Not major issues but they are there.
I've since bought the SX Mini M and the problems above do not exist. The SX just does TC almost flawlessly. In particular, I can attach an older coil that had reduced production in the EVic VT ( #2 above) and it performs like a new coil. Of course, the Evic costs about 3.5X less than the SX.
Like I said, at the price point, the VT is a great device.
