Another over-priced unit that under-performs. Read around here, and you will see lots of recomendations. 510 threaded stuff has the greatest variety and largest number of vendors atm. I don't think I have ever seen anyone upset about buying a 510 and there are tons of battery size options to choose from. Also a ton of atty/cartos available out there as well.

It's best to choose a unit that has lots of options available for them. I don't think anyone would recomend a proprietary threaded unit unless they didn't know better.

Thanks for the info, this is just the beginning...

I started with this model, and still use it from time to time.

You can get more vapor production out of it by emptying one of the cartridges of its poly filling (thus making it a 'drip tip' of sorts) and direct dripping onto the atomizer. Be careful not to flood the atomizer because the #7 is a manual style battery and you don't want juice to go all over the place and ruin your battery. Usually 2 drops is safe for this model. You should be able to vape for 5 minutes or so on that. In a way, it's sorta like having a regular cigarette.

The other thing I do is to take the poly filling out of the prefilled cartridges, rinse it out, put it back in, and fill it up with new juice. You'll notice this dramatically helps with vapor production and flavor.

I have upgraded since I purchased the #7 (which is a rn4081, I believe). I purchased a KR808d-1 and hated that. I then purchased a Riva510 lite bundle and I love that.

Still like my #7 for what it is. Nice little device that runs like a champ when you fill it with the right e-liquid.

Good luck!

...your first one is the best, no matter what it is, so congratulations! And welcome to the forum.

I second that statement! The N. 7 wouldn't be on my list of recommended kits either, but it's what you have. If it gets you off of cigarettes or even just gives you a taste of what vaping can be, it's worth it.

I used to, but now I'm a rum man, and I prefer Sailor Jerry.

 Well, your first one is the best, no matter what it is, so congratulations! And welcome to the forum. You will soon find the best alternatives. How much did you pay for it?

I payed $45 for it, it came with two batteries, two atomizers, 5 cartridges, usb & wall charger... and all the materials necissary to do the ZFM mod :)

Not too bad of an initial investment. I plunked down quite a bit for the $20 XhaleO2 kit from 7 Eleven. One battery, one atty, I don't remember how many carts. Then I had to get a pack of carts while I waited for my eGo.

When you're ready for more battery life, you can get a Riva kit at Liberty Flights for $30 when they have some on sale and in stock. Just looked, and they've got some black ones now. It says $37.49, but you click on the 20% off button on the top of the page first. $3 shipping. Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 FWIW anyway.
