The local B&M has a sale on them for $17.99 and i nearly walked out with one. They dont fit the MVP V2 correctly according to Phil and its not actually the center pin he mentions. The cone threading is slightly different on the MVP V2 than the V1. My V1 ring wont fit the V2 but anyway....
Ive got a bunch of unpunched XL 1.7ohm cartos that work fine but of course they do not hold much juice. The BFT only holds about 1.8ml so that is around 3ml total. The BFT comes with two atty heads and a 3.1ohm carto. I did not realize it had a carto until i saw it and came home and watched Phils review. He says it will take any standard OD unflanged carto and it basically re-fills like the condom method.
So has anyone tried the BFT with a carto and besides it being kind long did it seem to function ok? I cant imagine the bottle and "squeezing" windows will last a long time but i think its interesting. My main concern is leaks when "refilling".
