i have vaped a few extracted tobacco juices. tinctures i suppose you'd say. i'm no expert in the field though, simply because tobacco was the only flavor i ever tried and that was only because i had a lot laying around. The flavor wasn't bad, but i wouldn't go out of my way to do it again, just because i feel like the tobacco additives are also being absorbed by the base and cancering me up. That's just my opinion, mind. There is information here on ecf, i haven't read most of it. search for tobacco extraction or tinctures. I know there are a few vendors out there who market naturally extracted flavors, which i assume are simply tinctures. Also heathers heavenly vapes has a lot of extracted tobacco juices i believe. You can use PG, VG, or liquor to make the initial extraction, and then flavor your juice with the resulting mixture. I've even heard of some folks just vaping a vg extraction straight, but i suppose the longer you let it sit the more flavor will be present in the tincture, so it'd be up to your individual tastes.

that's my .02.

If you're talking about alcohol extracts, yes... I'm vaping one right now (a mixture of green apple and pipe tobacco extracts I mixed up yesterday from stuff I've had steeping for several weeks, mixed with some PG/VG/nicotine base). I've also experimented a bit with using PG and VG to do the extraction.

You can get some really good stuff if you're willing to take the time and do it yourself. And no offense, but the implication that it could combust is just silly... the alcohol ends up being an extremely low percentage of the total liquid, and evaporates off with a little steeping if you're worried about it. But there's no reason to be... this stuff is about as flammable as beer.

"Fascinating" as Spock would say. This got my attention for some reason. Sounds like a simple thing to do. I have read a little on the extraction process but am nowhere near venturing into making my own liquid.

i feel i should also note that glycerin is flammable. But we aren't dealing with that kind of temperature. Stick a flame to a genesis wick covered in vg, and it'll burn.

Yeah, good point. Not quite as flammable as alcohol, but certainly hasn't been a major problem for most of us. And you're right, the stuff I'm vaping is slightly more flammable than beer... I just checked. :)

How did the VG extraction go? That got me curious, only though of using as a base rather than an extractor...
