Anyone who fixes mods?

I have a box mod I absolutely love that I bought on classifieds - the
person I bought from didn't know where he got it. It looks like a clear
Ken's box mod, but so many people make them themselves.

The 510 connector came out of the hole and a wire came with it.

Is there anyone on here that fixes mods for a small fee?
It looks like a basic solder and epoxy fix, but my soldering skills are beginner, and I'd hate to wreak it.

Wow! That is exactly what happened to 1 that I got from the classifieds. I am going to stay out of the classifieds when it comes to mods I think.

I don't believe that's a viable reason to stay out of the classifieds, this is a regular issue that exist on many mods from tightening down on the Atty's to much, and a very simple fix.

yes salem, most of the mods on the classifieds work wonderful...

All the mods I got from the classifieds work great....but sometimes things do happen..My Bart came from there and it is one of my favorites...so ..yeah...if anything happened to it I would do what you are doing...ask someone to fix it!

I got my BB today and there is a major difference in the construction. I knew that it was a used unit but some of the wires seemed to be just pressed in and not even sautered. I know that there are also the good deals there but I just feel more comfortable buying from a supplier for now.

My penny to ponder? -- I'd contact the local RC group (radio controlled car, boat, plane, helcoper hobbyist goup). There should be some fine maticulous craftsman there that might be willing to help with both the soldering AND the atty repair.
