I started DIY not so long ago and just found today on these forums that Food grade could be not as safe for inhalation as Pharm grade would be. Unfortunately, I thought Food grade would be fine. I only have food grade base and used it for a few weeks now.

I don't think it can be that harmful for now, I haven't used it for a long period. But I really consider switch to Pharm grade and throw away the Food grade I have for safety. I only ordered small amounts to start with anyways (120ml of each).

Has anyone been using Food grade for a certain time? How long? Any health problems? Is there reliable sources that can prove that Food grade isn't safe for inhalation?

Or should I use whatever I have for now ? And when it's finished, my next order for sure will be Pharm grade...

Thanks in advance

I'm from Canada and currently comparing:
Base/Mix
and
Liquid Base for diy e-liquid USP Pharmaceutical Grade Propylene Glycol – Fusion Flavours E-Liquid Supply Canada

Canvape seems to mention Foodgrade USP (that's where I ordered from) and Fusionflavours mention Pharmgrade USP.

From what I read, there is a difference between the two grades. But seemingly, I could use what I have reasonably safely for now and make a switch later.

Also is there a way to check for purity and make sure it's not fake labelling when you buy a certain grade?
