I was really looking forward to getting one of these and then I heard about people not liking the rba. If I'm going to drop about 50, I want an rba so I don't have to always about having coils.

It's a great looking tank just seems the rba may be a little lacking. The rba is what killed the subtank for me, I'm more leery now but to each their own right.

when i purchased my TFV4 i also bought the project sub ohm sauce code tank. Its different because it takes coils from numerous other tanks and it also has a RBA. i also bought the project sub ohm Silverplay which is their RTA. I haven't received any of them yet so i cant really comment on it yet but take a look at the Saucecode.

I've only used the single coil RBA, but I loved it with a twisted 24g coil wicked with rayon. Tasted just as good, no dry hits or leaks for the whole week or so I used it.

Seems some people have had not such great luck with the TFVA4. Vaping the quad at 110w with some DIY juice. All my juices are 70+VG, usually 80-90VG and 1 flavoring has a smidgen of sweetener. The coils heads I have used up, triple and quad, both lasted me about 3 weeks, maybe a little more. I used a single coil RBA with a twisted 24g coil and that also performed beautifully with no leaks and no dry hits for a couple of weeks or so, same wick.

@Eekins
Do you vape your TFV4 any differently than RDAs? I use a MXv4 at around 130w, haven't used it in a while, but from what I remember the vapor difference wasn't that big. I'm gonna have to pull the MXv4 out and test that out lol.

@Cacique
I vape my TFV4 at 4.2v, much like I vape when using my rdas and mech mods. I don't do it constantly, but if I really wanted to produce a lot of vapour with little work, I just make quad dragon coils and instead of angling them, I make them vertical. 24ga Kanthal, 8 wraps, ohms out to .23. Produces massive vapor doesn't kill as much battery as the TFV4.
