I think my eVic is about to kick the bucket. When I first got it it had a malfunction, it would fire but the screen was unresponsive. I sent it back to have it looked at, they checked it over and found nothing wrong with it. It was frustrating, but when I got it back it seemed to work fine other than the display having some minor issues.

Been using it for almost a year with minimal issue. Occasionally I would screw on a new tank and it would say the ohm was like 3.9 when I know it's a stock coil head at 2.5 resistance. I'd have to take it off then put it back on a couple times and it would eventually get close to an accurate reading. New issue is it randomly turns itself off, which is normal if you set it aside for however much time you have it set to turn off at, but that's not it. The other night for example, I was on here, I set my PV aside to type out a response, picked it up and it was shut off. It couldn't have been more than 5 minutes from the time I took my last puff. Tried resetting it with MVR but it wouldn't work either. Anyone else had issues like this?

A) Stretch the spring in the Battery cap
B) Sit it down gentler

eVic will instantly cut off if power is interrupted.
If the battery is jolted the power is interrupted.

Ohms Readings
a) Clean the 510 connection with alcohol.
b) Always attach devices quickly

eVic reads Ohms the instant a connection is made.
A loose connection will read High.

510 comnector sucks on eVic....mine is so worn out that 2 out of 3 cartos in my tank "slip" right into it and only allow me to turn once or twice to secure it.the ohm reading jumps around too, it can say 2.4ohms then 2.6 then 2.5 then 2.3. Really wish 510 connection was better
