Anyone with Powder Coat experience?

Some of my mods are showing wear and tear. Probably going to send for powder coating. Will strip it down to just the metal casing and send to a shop. I think i will send to ArchiCoating. shop would need to sandblast and recoat. Used ArchiCoating before to powder coat my bike. Just wondering if theres any other recommendations? Anyone with experience, would certainly appreciate your input or perhaps how much it cost you.

Got plastic dip local? Long time back got from Amazon.. Damn bloody expensive! Anyway plasticdip can end up rather thick after dry..

Plastic dip cost around 23 per can from car workshops. If u r using on ur mod, shld last u quite a while. Haha.

can confirm its about 23 per can, I use it on my pc. It feels a little rubbery as well so might actually be a perfect idea for mods

If plastidip is same material as the rubbery feeling Vaporshark I got when I first got it, then I'm not particularly interested. It will bubble up after awhile and just rub off.

I got quoted about $40 for sandblasting, smoothing out and then powder coating. Custom colours like a metallic finish will cost slightly more like $10 for a small item. I plan to send it in on Saturday or something. Will let you guys know the outcome

What I'm more interested in is if there's any company in Singapore that does a cerakote finish. Seems pretty hardy.

Wow powder coat mods...serious?
I did my for some bike spare parts in amk industrial there...

There also got 1 shop do anodize...u can consider whether wanna powder coat or anodize..i would prefer anodize...
powder coat makes the mod thicker..might not be able to fit in swee swee if space is tight inside.

The rdna was passed to a friend, and recently i got it back. It's still pretty bare. @HiShAm i don't think the zinc alluminium alloy anodizes well right?

U can try ask..to me seems possible.. anyway the shop will advise u whether isit possible or not.

Else for the lazy man method, can try doing decals/ stickers? At least i can change the stickers if i get sick and tiring staring at the graphics/ design. Easier, cheaper as well.

I used my excess carbon fibre sticker and size it down to fit. Looks nice with the neat and firm texture
