I was heading towards surgery, and the only thing that was going to keep me from getting it was my breathing. At 2 packs a day, my O2 levels were at 93 (constantly), walking to the ba
throom could strain my breathing. And, gods forbid, that the elevators/escalators are out at the BART station...ewps.
I needed to make the switch, because I needed that surgery. I figured it was a 'cheat' to get around the no smoking bit, and figured once I was done with surgery, it would be back to analogs I go. In the month leading up to the surgery, my breathing had drastically improved, broken escalators don't bother me, and I'm going for extended walks without fearing that I'm going to start to get all wheezy.
I've been asthmatic my entire life, and I'll be honest, I haven't felt this good lung capacity wise in about 20 years.
