Wow Lasttango!! You have quite the stocking there!

For my one year vape anniversary/Christmas my boyfriend got me the red Provari I've been wanting. Since I didn't have to buy it I splurged on a couple of juices from Vapetrik, Bucky's & a few I've been wanting to try from mt baker.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I hope you guys are going to a rescue shelter to get that new pup (or older dog). So many out there that need a forever home!! And don't forget the kitty cats either!!

Yep I head to our shelter every week. I lost my kitty 3 years ago New Years Eve and have only been ready for a new family feline recently. One day the right kitty will choose me and find a forever home. :)

BTW I really do believe the best pairings the pet chooses the human not the other way round.

That is exactly what I was going to say. I belong to a pug rescue and we have a ton of babies that need furever homes. We work on transport out of state. Pm me if you want the rescue site.

Wife gave me my provari early but also got a pt2 and my favorite liquid peanut butter and banana I was out. Non vape related a great Einstein t shirt and a copy of my favorite move Shawshank redemption all and all a very good day. Now come on New years so I can order my Kayfun. Lol

Nice! I also like Shawshank Redemption as well. I've owned it on DVD for several years.

I wish I had known about your rescue about year ago. My daughter desperately wanted a pug and I tried several times to contact a pug rescue in our area and never got a response. I filled out their online forms and wrote several emails. All the pug rescues in nearby states would not rehome to a different state. I didn't think to check further away. It turned out okay as we adopted a pug/beagle from a lady who had gotten him as a birthday gift and didn't really eant him, and I wouldn't trade him for anything now. I did have a few frustrating months trying to find a pug that needed a home though.

I love Shawshank Redemption. That's one of those movies that if I catch it on TV, at any place in the movie, I'll sit and watch it till its over. Without exception.

I got an itaste MVP 2! Filled the tank with Azure's RY4.5 and am loving it! Hope these tanks prove to be good as they seem. The only thing as easy to fill as a halo triton tank I have used. Will have to order a new tank and lower nic juice, cause it hits like a champ! Of course, it will kinda bulky to carry around all day, but my halo batts are dying off, but after 4 months of good use.

My dogs didn't get me jack squat, and I don't even think that the cat knows it's Christmas.

I did get myself a Panzer and Atomic RDA, but now I'm eyeballing a Russian 91% as sort of a post-Christmas present to myself.
The cat know it's Christmas... :glare: Mine just like to play in the ribbons and paper. It's all about them, ya know.

Yes, we are! We'll visit more than one, if necessary. When he or she speaks to us, we'll certainly hear her heart. My cats, won't tolerate another cat, but oddly, will accept the canine. Go figure.

I completely agree with you and I'm so sorry for your loss. An animal in your life makes your heart bigger and allows room for more one day. It's how they roll.

My boyfriend doesn't get vaping so he got me a few non vape related gifts that were awesome none the less. His mom got me a bath and body basket that I can actually smell and enjoy now that I don't smoke, and his step dad gave me a few mason jars of his amazing apple cider and banana moonshine. I made a few gift bottles of yummy DIY juice for a few people I'm trying to convert. The boyfriend even sprang for clear labels I printed out to make them look spiffy lol. :)
Happy holidays everyone!!!

well, I love the idea of pug (or any animal) rescue,,,,

but 6 years ago, I wanted a pug,,,,,and I looked INTO rescue,,,,

YOU don't pick the pug,,,,,,nor does the pug pick YOU,,,,,the people at the rescue decide which dog you should have,,,,based on factors that may or may not work for you,,,,

AND,,,,,,,,,sometimes the requirements are ridiculous,,,,,

seriously? mandatory fenced in back yard for a pug dog in florida where the temps are way too hot for a pug to stay outside to USE that back yard?

I asked my vet for a reputable breeder and I bought a pug,,,,,,,,,and that was sad,,,,,because I really wanted to rescue one,,,,

but we're not allowed to have fenced in yards in our neighborhood :( No fenced yard,,,,,,,no rescue pug :(

I agree with this. I don't know if you read my post above about trying to get a rescue to respond to me. They never did, but their requirements were similar to the ones you mentioned. The questionnaire I had to fill out also had some very intrusive questions on it. I went through with filling out the answers and trying to contact them, but the whole thing really rubbed me the wrong way. They also stated that _they_ would find the right pug for you.

Even some of the shelters here have crazy requirements and adoption fees. I understand completely that they want to find good homes, but many people faced with a large amount of red tape will just go buy a dog from a breeder or back yard breeder or pet store.

We actually ended up getting our dog off of Craigslist, which many people frown on. I do agree that one should never get a puppy off of Craigslist unless you can be sure it's really and truly an accidental puppy. Many people use Craigslist to sell puppies they have 'bred' specifically to sell. So getting a puppy off of Craigslist will often mean you are buying from a back yard breeder (even if the puppies are listed as mixes or accidental litters). Our guy was 5 months old when we got him, and it was clear that his previous owner just did not have the time and money to give him what he needed.
