Anything smaller in diameter than the Nautilus that comes anywhere close in flavor?

I love the T3S and MT3S tanks I have; the other Kangers, meh, adequate is the best I can give them.

As for gurgle, I've had plenty, and learned to deal. It usually means:

a) liquid in the center tube -- swab out with pipe cleaner;

or
b) loose coil in the base -- tighten it;

or
c) rubber gasket on the base not laying flat -- if you can't get it to lay flat, you may need either a new gasket or -- what I did -- a new base; (a spare base is very useful for dry-burning/rebuilding)

or
d) thin juice running right thru the coil head -- new or bigger flavor wick;

or
e) over-saturated coil, causing the head to be flooded -- take the coil apart, remove the flavor wick, and SHAKE! (hard!) the coil down towards a sink, and drops will fly out; keep flinging/shaking till they stop flying. Put on a new flavor wick before reassembling - the old one is probably saturated too.

Hope that helps; the problem isn't really the T3S tanks, it's just the usual difficulty of liquids and gravity and an opening at the bottom. T3S tanks actually rock, the flavor/vapor they provide is so good, but hey, liquids and gravity are a tricky mix.

Too tight of a draw is also a major cause in getting a case of the gurgles. The Aero tank base cures this. I have fitted all of my PT2's with aero bases and even fitted a mini PT2 with one. Have not tried one on a T3 but, I still have a couple Left in my obsolete box so I may just give it a shot.

I do all that and it's ok for a bit, but then it's back to gurgling and spitting. Maybe I got a dud. I took the entire thing apart, cleaned and dried it, replaced the coil, put it back together firmly. It worked well for an hour or so and then the gurgle was back.

My local vape store doesn't even carry the PT3 because of too many complaints of gurgling. I think I'm going to stop in there today and get either an Aero or a Davide or both. And maybe a carto of some sort...

I'm confused... your T3S/MT3S? Or a PT3? I don't know anything about PT3's, and have learned that I really hate dual coils. If you mean your T3S/MT3S does that even after doing all those things, then it must be the juice running thru the coil head -- do you use a thin mostly-PG juice? You may need a more substantial flavor wick. And once the head is flooded because of thin juice, you have to take it apart again and fling it out, or it'll just keep doing that. I use a thin 85%-PG juice, so I have to deal with it fairly often.

Also, the thing about liquid in the center tube -- the vapor itself can cause that, from built-up condensate inside the mouthpiece running down into the center tube. You just have to keep swabbing it out.

Lol, swabbing? Blow it for flooding, suck it for dry hitting. Gotta flood issue? Its fixable. Very simply.

It sure is fixable, WITHOUT having to apply one's mouth to something that likely has e-juice on it. It might not be harmful, but eeeuuuuuu! I bought some things at Walmart that used to be called "pipe cleaners" but now apparently are called "fuzzy sticks". *shrug* They work very well for swabbing out narrow tubes, and drip tips.

I ended up getting an Aerotank because the shop I went to doesn't carry the Davide. The owner tried to sell me a Nautilus instead, "For just a few bucks more, this tank blows that one out of the water." I told him I know, I have one, but it doesn't fit my VTR.

I like it ok. Much better than the Protank 3. Still not as much flavor as the Nautilus though. But enough that I might buy an extra base to convert my Protank 3.

I know the shop about a mile from my house carries the Davide, so maybe I'll stop there on my way home tonight.

With the Aero on my VTR and A 1.8 ohm coil (using Bryce's 50/50 vanilla custard as an example) I find the sweet spot for me settings to be 4.2-4.5 and or 11 watts. The aero hums along very well with the air flow slightly throttled.

Your results may very.

Whats funny to me is on my other units, the volt/ wattage settings are quite a bit different.

I went from the PT2 to the Aero tanks and never experienced the PT3. The funny thing is, I just popped on to the Kanger Tech site and they no longer list the PT3 only the PT3 mini. Could it be that they realized they screwed the pooch with the PT3?

Yes, that's why they introduced the Aero. Aerotank is the T3 with adjustable airflow. T3 is a waste of time and money--but if you own one, just add Kanger's Aero base (sold separately) and convert your T3 into Aero. :facepalm:

Funny how there is such a love/hate relationship with Kanger products. All I can say is that once I got to know them, they have treated me well. I also like my Aspires, IC30's and Ibetanked units as well. All for different reasons.

There's a learning curve with every new device. I've used every single Kanger topper and never had a leak or a dry hit, either.

The PT2 is a different animal with an aero base attached to it.

Agreed. It's my favorite tank. :D

I just heard from someone who inquired to Aspire about a Nautilus mini and was told that it is scheduled to be released this month!

I heard the same thing. I have an email from one of Aspire reps that it will be introduced any day--but no mini on the site yet. So there. :D

I asked the owner of my local vape shop if she'd heard anything about a mini Nauti. She hadn't, but contacted Aspire directly and was told that there is a mini in the works, but no release date yet. Sounded like it was still in engineering. So anything coming out this month is almost certainly a fake. Bummer. I'm not good with the whole patience thing.

Interesting . I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the aspire website. When they do come out I'm buying at least 3. I might give one of them to the hubby if I'm feeling nice.

I'm buying one. I never buy more than one of anything--the first time. :D

You've been warned. ;)
