Polarity could be an issue, yes.

Equally important is the output of the charger. If that is higher than the mAh of the battery, you can damage the battery. (It seems the chargers are all constant current, and too high a charging current will eventually damage the battery.)

So, if the polarity is ok, i.e. the same on both, you could use a 150 mAh charger on an 1100 mAh battery - it would just take a l o n g time to charge up.

But don't use a 420 mAh charger on a 150 mAh battery.

Are all 808 chargers backassward or is it just the Blu, as far as polarity? I have a couple V2 chargers around someplace that could possibly be backups or traveling spares.

If in doubt ONLY use the charger sold by your supplier for use with the battery you bought from the same place. This is never something you want to guess at or make assumptions about. Not only are there the already cited problems of getting the polarity correct and not putting more mAh's current from a charger into a battery than it is designed to put out, there is also the voltage issue. Some very cheap e-cigs come with mini USB chargers that do nothing more than pass along 5 volts from the USB port into that particular battery. Connect any proper battery designed to charge at 4.2 volts to one of those 5 volt "chargers" and again - you risk frying the protection circuit in the battery or even worse- exploding it.

When it comes to e-cig batteries, just because a battery can fit onto a charger does not make it the right charger for the battery.

Yeah your right and lets face it buying a spare charger that's designed for you battery is much cheaper than replacing burnt out ones.

the problem is where I bought my spinner from they don't supply the charger....they suggest one...so I'm waiting on it in the mail while I just got my spinner today...

I've searched online and seems some people said that the blu charger will charge it but at a very slow pace....
can anyone confirm or deny? cuz i'd really like to start using my new toy lol

yeah sorry didn't want to open a new thread asking basically the same question....but had searched online and a few suppliers had listed that the blu charger would work at a slow pace...so I wanted to make sure with the community here which I value their info more than others ;) (learned that lesson the hard way already once)

don't understand the polarity but that's what I was thinking as well DavidOck...but I guess I'll just wait a week until my spinners charger is delivered....lol right now my spinner is just a paperweight.
