all great PV's

decisions decisions decisions...

my question i guess would be what would be better for a first variable

evic awesome looking unit with really cool features:facepalm:(no colors:grr:) (a bunch of stuff most likely would be ignored by me) 100.00 dollars but a reliable piece of arsenal? (my joye egos lasted a year a set) just spend the dang money!!! has a massive 2600mah battery, may fit a larger one?

anyvape cvi (look mah lots of pwetty colors!!!!):unsure:does what i want it to do, no extra do dads to have to mess with "set it and for get it" biggest battery that fits?(18650)

vamo ditto from cvi same question biggest battery that will fit?(staying away from stacking)

this will be a first variable for me not even gonna bother with the big ego's anymore, I kill those in about 4 hours, i discovered cold vaping sucks!!! (950 mah) I am a massive chain vaper, it's a pacifier i have got to have in my mouth, also i am adhd so the nic keeps my head slowed down I am hearing and seeing great things about all three. but!!! as moving up so i can get (also getting a rebuildable(aga-t) with an f 16 tank for work)also have a bolt for back up and some lr carts. trying to get the pacifier out of my mouth, thinking this will get me a better hit, currantly running 24 mg juice 80/20 pg/vg.

Am i going on the wrong path? was a 2pad smoker.

Being that the CVI and Vamo essentially run the same chip, same as the zmax...it's purely aesthetic on that part.

I have a zmax and an Evic, I have decided that I like the Evic better. I don't ever go above 7-9 watts so I don't need a device that goes to 15.

So my Evic has been reliable, the vape doesn't have the vamo/cvi/zmax pulse to it and the new 1.2 features are cool. You can get an 18350 tube (the ego-t mod one fits) for 8.99. You could also put a 3400mah 18650 NCR in it. So unless you need over 5 volts/11 watts, I would recommend it out of your choices.

As always, everybody likes something different so whatever you think is best for you, is probably best for you.

ps. you could put a 2600mah battery in almost any 18650 mod, I just would switch out the ICR for an IMR or Hybrid. 2000 or 2250 is still a lot of mah

I'm glad they recalled them. Pbusardo reported issues too.

Right now I'm liking the eVic more and more. What they have done with the firmware updates thus far is impressive and it can only get better, at least until they release a new model entirely. As to your concerns about colors, there are different color tube options around (modified ego tubes), and I swear I saw that Joye was releasing satin, black and chrome as well. On top of that, they are available as cheap as $72 here

The Vamo will take an 18650. You can also take of a section and use it in shorty mode with an 18350 - so two different sizes. Its a good solid pv. I've used a Vamo pretty heavily. The menu is easy to use, and it has variable wattage and variable voltage - i think you know that though.
Here's a couple of pics to give you an idea of size:

I thought about getting the Evic but then decided I have a smartphone I have a few computers I don't need a "smart" pv. I ended up going with the Vamo just for simplicity. Now if the mailman will deliver it I'd be a happy vaper...

Also I decided I wanted to use mine in shorty mode this was another variable in my decision.

All seem to be good devices though. Good luck.

don't have to worry much about batteries, when i ordered my bolt ordered 2 2250 panasonic cgr 2250 off smoketek site, cheapy plastic bolt for an absolutely cheap steal. batts were 8.99 on a 12 hr sale.
but thinking of getting a vamo, i can always get a wrap, absolutely hate chrome, especially with me it'd be scratch's to no end.
and if the cvi is on hold that leave evic ugh all that scrolling............vamo looking better and better to me.
I most likely won't get much above 4 volts but the wattage to me and the rattle snake thing won't bother me at all, actually sounds cool to me.

the evic is still an option if they got it to where you can go right to voltage and watts, problem with that choice is i am a mechanic and this is heavily computerized, it may not like getting dropped to much, maybe i should get that for when i am out and about(something to impress with)and get the vamo for work?

I take my Vamo to work in shorty mode. Both the Vamo and evic are good pvs. The Vamo will be sturdier - you can get it in stainless steel, so doesn't have to be chrome, and stainless is not a fingerprint magnet. And yes, you could wrap it even so.
The evic fits the joyetech ego mod tubes apparently, so some people mix and match their colors that way.

Same post Juggernaut? If you want both - sure get both. As I mentioned, you can get the Vamo in stainless steel if you don't want chrome. A lot of people prefer it. You can go right to watts and volts on a Vamo - it has the most user friendly menu I've used.

The Evic is not as accurate as the Vamo on the settings. However with the latrst download you can tailor you vape - so it changes as you vape. Some people like this - they like to start at a wattage and then taper it down a bit.

I'm fine staying at the same watts myself. They are both good pvs with a lot of good features. The Vamo will cost you less, but then the Evic comes with downloadable updates.

I know that feeling right now, new juice, my bolt, my f16 boge tank with extra carts all supposed to arrive tomorrow, feeling like a kid that just left the candy store and can't get my hand in the bag fast enough to start the sugar coma.

I've gotta zmax, evic, lavatube, and a couple other mods, by far the evic is my fav! Joyetech just came out with a 3400mah battery. The beta 1.2 software lets you change the battery to that battery as well. They also came out with colored versions, which look nice. Honestly spend the money on an eVic. They're awesome.

I rewatched a bunch of reviews the other day and the vamo/zmax/cvi didn't really seem to be any more accurate than the evic, they all were a bit off. Pbusardo's big thing was that the evic didn't go to 15 watts or whatever it advertised, honestly none of those will either without stacking. Not saying one is better than the other, just having both a zmax and evic, I don't notice much difference, besides the frequency, vaping the same things at the same wattage.

I actually have a vamo on the way but my god is that gigantic, it's pretty big even with just an 18350. I might just sell it off and get an itaste SVD to be my giant device.

I actually have an 18350 tube for my evic on the way, I am thinking it will be a better size for me than the 18350 vamo.

The 18350 Vamo is not that big. About the size of an 18490 Bolt or a Chi-Chi.
The evic numbers were off - Mountain Prophet does some very thorough reviews and his results are here:
Joyetech eVic: VV Akkuträger mit PC Anschluß » Mountain Prophet

Use Google translate for the text. The numbers are at the bottom. Compared to the Vamo.
I think they are both good pvs, but the Vamo is more accurate on the settings.

yeah i have watched his reviews alot lately, also noticed how he almost drowns an evic in his hands, i got the same kinda hands big bear paws, kinda the vamo not so much so, so the vamo would be a better op in that it will fit a little better. i'll probably just pop both, and order a couple extra batts, i got the four bay charger so might as well put it to use.
