Hmmm I thought it was just me. I just went through most of my T3's and so far 1 out of 3 will be detected.
Maybe the center pin isn't making contact?

I'm gonna put the center pin out a bit on one that isn't working and find out.

-- a bit later:
Yup! pulling and reseating the center pin did the trick.

--Shortly after taking a draw:

Bleech! I picked one that was flooding. LOL!
That's what I was talking about.
While pulling the pin can often have it make contact, it's a fine line between working and having issues with the performance of the T3. Sometimes it works, sometimes it causes other issues. Because I mostly vape Kanger products, that is why I went with a device that isn't as prone to having to tinker with the T3 to resolve potential connection issues.

As always your mileage may vary. There are many like Ferrel1134 that don't have that issue. I'm wondering if there is some variance in the evic head that causes some to be fine and others to have trouble.

And if you want to get REALLY creative, several companies make skins for the eVic. I have a wood-grain skin on my eVic form J-Wraps, and it looks AWESOME.

As for performance, I love my eVic. It vapes nice, looks REALLY cool, has some very sophisticated features, and decent battery life...

They are also coming out with different tubes and caps. I really like this look....

Odd I never needed to pull pins on any of my nine. I don't even know what a center pin is.
I'm probably calling it by the wrong name. it is the center pin/post that is in the grommet in the head. They weren't quite making contact on the few that were not being detected.

I should clear up my post a bit. The head that flooded was one that I had set aside (not well enough it seems) to be re-wicked when I get my wick/coil supplies later on. I took a big drag on it and got a mouth full. :D
That was me being stupid.

I ma not sure what you are talking about the T3, evod and protank work great on my evic. When you start to get in to RBS they hang over alittle but still work great. if the over hang bothers you are are flat top caps out there as well.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the Evic, I was just trying to correct what I viewed as misstatements.

Regarding the RVW, I'm glad your palate is sensitive enough to really use this function. For myself, I found it kludgy, limited and while fun playing with it, it didn't enhance my vape experience. I also vape several juices throughout the day and would tire quickly of changing profiles every couple of hours. I put it in the really neat concept, but nothing I'll use category, but some people love that feature.

I also see that they have a revision coming out to screw the head assembly together instead of using a press fit. This should help with a lot of the issues where the head comes apart. Now if they would widen the well to accept T3's, Evods and the bottom ring on a protank, it'd be a hands down winner in my book.

My opinion is that the Evic and Anyvape CVI are both good systems, and depending on what features are more important to you either one is a good choice. For myself being an almost exclusive user of Kanger T3, EVOD and Protank's the ability to use without adaptors over weighed the additional feature set of the Evic which I wouldn't use, but it was a tough choice for me to make.

Think about it. eVic works with every Clearomizer out without issue - Except some T3 - T3 has an odd center pin(Flat)
The issue is the Kanger, not the eVic.
I always have a T3 on one of my eVic's
Thanks,
That was my point, and why I went for a more T3 friendly mod.

Whether the problem is with the T3 or the Evic is irrelevant to me. I vape with T3's, other mods (Anyvape CVI) handle them better, so the choice not to go with the Evic was a good choice for me.

That may not be an important consideration for other people, so in the wonderful world of having many good choices to go with we can all be happy.

I like my T3's and my eVic so I will gladly tinker with the T3's to get them to work well together. :) That's my nature anyway. :)
What is important is what works well for you.

So I got a OMG Handle from Vapor4Life instead and I don't particularly care for it (cheap feel, threads are loose, buttons feel like they're going to fall off). I'm gonna get a refund hopefully and get something else. A buddy of mine has had 2 evics and both have stopped working within 2 months so I think I'm gonna go mechanical and get a Reo Grand. I'm so indecisive about this stuff but bottom feeders have me majorly interested and the quality looks amazing.

I would not get neither of them go with the sig zmax or a vamo or provari or a svd from itazte they are all built like a tank my evic does not leave the house it feels cheap and is not road worthy.IMHO

I use mine in 18350 mode more than the Zmax telescope... On the other hand, the PWM on the gripper burns too much... I use it with high res resistances. BTW, we have the same PVs, except for the Zmax, mine is a telescope...
