Just got a new Anyvape Peakomizer. This thing is awesome - SS and Pyrex, 3.5 ml, airflow, takes Aspire & Kanger BCC or BDC coils, but is top filling!

Anyvape changed the center post design after initial shipments. My vendor sent me the replacement part and the Anyvape website instructions say don't forget the O-ring. My question is has anyone figured out where/how to put an O-ring? I have the replacement center post installed without adding any O-ring and it seems to be working fine so far, but I'm worried it may be needed in some situations.

I can't answer your question but I love the looks and functionality of this tank! How does it vape??

If I was to get one I'd want to use the original Kanger Dual coils (open style with cotton sticking out the sides). Do you know if those fit or is it specifically designed for the newer enclosed style coils? (The pictures I saw on a few websites only showed Aspire dual coils installed...)

Oh and where did you get it? I see a couple of websites that have it between $25 and $30...

EDIT: never mind about the "will Kanger coil fit" question I found the answer! They will! http://www.anyvape.com/peakomizer

The vape is great. Draw is a little tight depending on what you mount it on, but plenty of vapor and flavor. The air intakes are underneath so if your mod or battery block these you may need to loosen it a bit.

As you figured out yes it takes all Aspire (but not Nautilus) and Kanger bottom coil heads both single and dual. The center post is sprung loaded which is what allows it to accommodate various designs of heads. That's a big attraction for me - I have a stack of single and dual Kanger coils (they're way cheaper in bulk!) and this tank can use either.

I got mine from Vivid Smokes who were the only vendor I asked who would confirm they had the replacement center post mentioned on the Anyvape website. I'm having a little gurgling after filling, but you can shake it out and then its fine. This may be because of the O-ring I was asking about above. I also have questions in to Vivid Smokes and Anyvape so we'll see what they say. New shipments are supposed to have the new post already installed so any vendor who gets new shipments from now on should be good.

That's the only hesitation I have in giving this a full recommendation, otherwise the functionality is great and matches my needs for a truly versatile run-around tank.

After putting the tank back together, you install the o-ring. Unscrew the top and it fits over your airflow tube. There is a groove at that top where the o ring will sit.

BTW...... I have had no problems with this tank before replacing part. I think people were filling the tank without adjusting the ring to F. You no longer have to do that when filling tank.

Really like this tank. Good hits. Good airflow. Nice design. Not a big bottom coil fan. But great you can fill this from the top.
SUCK IT KANGER. <-----One giant craphole of a company, that has NEVER fixed any issues customers have with their products.

Don't be good boys and girls!

Thanks for the info. Did you receive an O-ring with the replacement part? I did not and if I force one on from a Davide tank, apart from being incredibly difficult to install in that small space, it then prevents the tank from being dis-assembled for cleaning.

Haven't heard anything back from Anyvape, nor from Vivid Smokes. Very disappointing. I'd be buying a few more if I could get this figured out.

Thanks for all your help. Unfortunately the original O-ring went flying across the room when I first tried to put it on and hasn't been seen since!

I went back to the original configuration just to try it out, but I'm still getting a gurgle after topping up on F. So now I don't really know what to think. Do I just have a bad one? Am I just a klutz? Still like the idea so I'll probably try a factory modified version when they become available, but I don't really trust the early ones right now.

So just to update folks on this story, I gave up on this tank for a while, but then saw my local B&M had them in stock and decided to give it another shot. I got a Version 2 (factory assembled with the replacement part), there was a date stamp under the shrink wrap from late July which showed it was a V2 before I opened it to confirm.

The upper o-ring on the center post comes pre-installed. With the o-ring installed it is not possible to easily disassemble the tank either for cleaning or to change the tank color. It is very difficult to remove the o-ring, eventually I just forced the tank apart with my finger over the top to prevent the o-ring from flying away. It popped off but shows sign of wear, I would not expect it to survive too many attempts at this, so bottom line don't expect to be able to disassemble this regularly. You'll have to just rinse to clean. I have not found anywhere selling Anyvape small replacement o-rings so treat any spares in the box like gold-dust.

I still get a slight gurgle after refilling. No juice in mouth or anything, just an annoyance. You can fix it by shaking it out. I decided to give them another go as I like the extra capacity over an Aerotank but with a similar look and build materials. Otherwise for reliability, ease of cleaning, and if you don't need to use Aspire coils, I'd still have to recommend Aerotanks.

My summary:

Pros - capacity, SS and Pyrex build, ability to use Aspire or Kanger coils, top filling
Cons - gurgle after filling, very hard to disassemble, need needle bottle to fill, airflow inlets under base
