Anyway to make the pull on a protank or Iclear 30b easier

I bought the Kanger Mini Protank II and the pull is so nice, so open, because it has a completely different design with 2 large air holes.
I know I can just buy the aerotank or nautilus, but maybe their is a way to open the air hole I have now for my PT2, PT3, and 30B? I cant understand where the air hole is.

If this is where the hole is, I can drill it out, but that does not make sense b/c that goes inside the threading.

Any help is appreciated

there are three small air flow holes at the top of the threading on the protank 2 not sure about the other two but on the PT3 it might be just 2 airholes, or it could be the same three.

I have heard of people drilling them out, it's at the top of the threading, so as long as you're super careful, don't go TOO big and clean it up well it shouldn't be too bad on the threads themselves.

they also have the aerotank base for sale at various vendors which has an adjustable airflow i believe and fits the PT 2 and 3.

I retrofitted all my full size protanks with the areo bases for about $5 each...solved the airflow problem and the leaking problem...now I love my protanks again

I'll third the Aerotank bases. I leave them full open, its the most comfortable airy draw I've ever had with a PT2.
Bonus: No more leaky base.

Drill out 1 of the three air holes on the bases of the Protank and it's almost as good as the aerotank replacement bases.

For iclear 30b, ensure the coil is threaded properly and the airholes are alighed with the bottom part of the connector holes. You may tighten it snuggly and if you don't see the holes aligning, just unscrew a little till you can see through the holes of the coil and bottom connector.

I just realized I said 30B, but the photo is of my PT2.
I actually bought an Aerotank base for my PT2, and can't be happier. It is great. And my PT3 already has a loose pull.
My 30B and 30S are a little tighter but I don't mind.
And lastly, my PT2 Mini has an extremely loose pull.

I'm all done buying Clearo's.
Ordered a Cartotank and going to see how that works.

So happy with my setups!!
