Think about it for a second.... If big Pharma couldn't pursuade the FDA or felt like they were loosing ground in their argument to classify the e-cig as a drug delivery device (which would give the e-cig market entirely over to Pharmaceutical companies). Then what better way to make their case than to set up (through a third party of course) an online shop as an e-cig company and start pushing liquid medications... Then all they do is point the finger at this same on-line company and say "See....We told you"

Result: The FDA shuts down this fake company - classifies the e-cig as a drug delivery device (just what Big Pharma wants) and drum roll please........Big Pharma owns the market.....and all th profits... they know we are mostly all just one empty bottle of juice away from going back to analogs, therefore they can hike the price up to whatever they want....my guess is, it will cost just a little bit more than cigarettes do..... cause you know....you want to make the healthier choice, even if it is a little bit more expensive than smoking..... Stock up now people.....and start cutting your nic levels back and be ready to pay out the azz for your juice and hardware or ..........

I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
I don't understand how actual e cigs can be banned/regulated,the juice maybe and that's a big maybe.
It seems to be the logic is without the drug it's just a paperweight. The same way you can walk into any head shop and buy a pipe, without the drugs it's useless

In a head shop, they are sold as "Tobacco Use Only". If you mention drugs in a head shop, they will likely show you the door. They can be shut down if only implying possible drug use of their products. So, PVs would have to be sold in the same way...IF... the seemingly inevidable happens.

The article says johnsons creek got a letter as well. they're not selling juice with any kind of medical additives are they?

No but they are a "Little-Big Guy". The perfect target. They are very popular, but still a small business and can easily be bullied w/out proper legal representation.

It strikes me as curious how we vapers want FDA approved food quality flavors in their juice. Most would take it for granted if all the liquids were FDA approved. All liquid suppliers would be quick to claim approval.
Why aren't we behind the FDA? I've read the rants and discussions. It seems odd we are missing some thing here.

Because approval of "E-Juice" as a new product could take up to 20 years(very common in the FDA). I personally don't want to wait that long. I have nothing against only FDA approved ingredients in juice, but approval of the finished product would take many years and many millions of dollars which we the consumer would then have to foot the bill for when buying juice.

exactly we like that our new habit only cost a mere fraction of what the old habit did (if we could stop buying more e-cig stuff that is). I as a pack a day or carton a week smoker spent 55.00 a week to smoke, I may vape only 5.00 - 10.00 worth of juice a week (about 10mls)

we want it and we want it cheap..... and we'll all probably say the same things we said when we were smoking cigarettes... "When juice hits 2 bucks a ml...I'm quitting" then next year it's "When juice hits 3 bucks a ml, I'm quitting" then next year it's "When juice hits 4 bucks a ml, I'm quitting" .. We all know the routine right?

I hear that all the time, but this is the kind of thing that I worry about...
REGION: Raided smoke shops back in business

Nobody with power or money gives a damn about people selling drug paraphernalia.
But we already know the powers that want to stamp out electronic cigarettes.

It isn't safe to assume anything.

WOW, so evidentally SOMEONE is getting a little nervous that analog smoker's all over the continent are getting wise and finding that smokers of many years are being successful in QUITTING with the help of e-cigs...hmmm...makes me sad for the thought as I have FINALLY found something that helped me quit and I LIKE vaping...I like the flavors, and my goal is to be at 0mg of nic and just like my coffee, vaping my flavors, breathing better and hitting high notes, yeah even after two weeks, my voice is soooo back to an unbelievable pitch and not having to 'PUSH' out a note...and I don't STINK anymore....hmph is all I have to say! And crap, if I could LOSE WEIGHT AND VAPE???? WOW...THAT would be a bonus ( I JUST lost 45 lbs and was doing awesome, I have gained 5 lbs since I quit, but my metabolism is changing and I expected that..no complaining here!) LOL....
