Whoa, I upped the wattage from 42 to 51 and left it in wattage mode and it is a ton better! So I can vape nickel coils in wattage mode on a TC mod but I can't vape this coil on a regular mod?

You don't want to vape ni200 in wattage mode!

But what I'm guessing is you were in tc mode and held power up + the fire button to enter wattage mode?
This is how you adjust wattage in tc mode, but you aren't actually leaving wattage mode when you do this

@liblue1 ...apologies if y'all have already addressed your mod spitting issues...I know some mods have a no-spit screen...just a lil piece of screen that keeps it from gettin ya...I know the itaste Pro3 mod has it...that thing pops like a mf ...but never got spit on yet

I have to be careful on the tips I use....no metal ones....but I will consider these....and I also tried a longer one....

Is the vape very hot at those lower temps?

not very "hot", but warm enough to feel it, it's crackling and popping so yes...........but then I was only used to my puck and it's not controllable............

I switched to silicone tips...no more burned lips!

Once upon a time I had a whole box full of Kennedy silver halves. .... they were mine and I don't even have 1 left!! Sad but true!

My father was a Lifelong collector of coins...when I was 14, we all went on vaca and someone (a classmate of my older bro..tho it was never proven...) STOLE almost all of my dad's coins, 'cept for the ones kept in a different place. None of them were ever recovered..I took it 'specially hard when Dad died ..many years ago...and everytime I see collector coins, I wonder if any of them are Dad's . One consolation....my nephew now collects coins...so the tradition continues! I often send him a "lil sumthin" special for his BD...coin wise....Helps me feel closer to Dad

It's the X Cube. Maybe it's still in TC mode but it is just showing me the wattage?

Probably the same reason when children await Santa and to awake on Xmas morning, dashing towards the tree for their presents, the anticipation of what Santa brought them....total joy........unless SOMEONE forgot to include batteries!

I wonder if anyone can relate to this discussion not having any experience with TC mods, I feel so left out....but if we were in discussion rebuilding CE5 and PT2 coils.....now I will lead the discussion!

I posted this in a different thread but it's relevant to those looking at the Reliant.

Okay just got home and the SS430 was waiting on me.

Wrapped an ugly spaced 7/6 around a 2.4mm mandrel (I believe 2.4mm, too tired to dig out 3mm currently) which ohm'd out to 0.71. Set the Reliant to 420F/30W, TCR to 13 and she vapes like a champ.

Atomic RDA wicked with rayon and it vaped the wick white before hitting temperature protection.

I'm happy with it thus far. Performance is great.

Happy with the resistivity of the wire also.

Why wouldn't you want to vape ni coils in wattage mode - will something bad happen like explosions? I'm serious

i have a couple of glow in the dark tips. cute but wish they would glow longer!!!

Oh my gosh, isn't it! I never knew mail could be so exciting. And, it's not that it's something you ordered in the mail coming. It's that it's vape mail! So strange but it does have that effect.

Like talking genetics in a political science class. On the day stem cell research/legislation came up in class our professor tried to get a word in edgewise but eventually gave up stating "Have at it you guys; I'm out of my league". lol

I know nothing about all this TC stuff and there seems to be a lot to learn. Oh well, I'm sure the information can be found here.
